Film ideas and reasons

Fist idea
High school comedy- a new girl enters school and ends up with the wrong crowd and
immediately gets involved with a fight after almost being used as a scapegoat that
almost got her expelled. It’s a played as a comedy for most of the story focusing on
problems new people in school experience and what could happen if they mix with
the wrong people.

Second idea
British council mystery- a girl had her parents killed when they were being robbed
and has a fear of adults especially older men. This focuses on the effects of drama and
how the girl deals with it as well as her perspective of adults and those around her.

Third idea
School schizophrenia – a girl suffers from schizophrenia. Her bullying as well as
family problems causes her mental state to focus more on them and the hallucinations
begin to make her more depressed to the point, she is not completely sure if what she
sees is all lies or holds truth to them, she is a bit detached from reality so when she
makes friends with a boy, she somewhat grounds herself but is not 100% there.

I chose the third idea for me movie because it would allow me to yes more editing
techniques such as voice changes, slow motion and others as it focuses on
hallucinations. I also wanted to focus on a topic that had to do with mental health and
the effect it has on teens especially if those problems link with school.

Setting- school mid-day

Characters- 1 traumatised school girl, 1 bully and 1 friend
