Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education :

If you have done your 10+2 from Maharashtra State Board, you need to
write an application on a blank page .Mention in your application clearly
that you need the BVC for DGCA. Take this application along with 3-4
Xerox of your 10+2 or 10th Marksheet what you want to get verified and go
to your nearest regional Board Office. When the office staff ask you for
what purpose do you need this BVC, tell them that you need it for DGCA
Exams. If they tell you to bring a request letter from DGCA, you can show
them the public notice issued by DGCA

You also need to tell them that you will personally collect the BVC and ask
them not to post it directly to DGCA. Cost of each BVC is INR 400-900
(price should have changed now). After submitting the application, you will
receive the BVC in sealed Envelope after 8 - 10 or more working days.

(MSBSHE also has online Verification too , but for that you need to visit the
website and make a login account for downloading your marksheet which is
not applicable as per DGCA manual ).
• Steps to verify
• Write a letter to board office which available there
• Pay the respective fees , and you will get the receipt for the
same and submit one at the office

• After few working days 10-20 precisely , you will get your
BVC and verified marksheet both from the office

Attach both in a one pdf and send the same respectively with
hardcopies

• For online verification of maharashtra board , you need to

first make one login ID and then verify your marksheets
which is not directly available on website

• https://boardmarksheet.maharashtra.gov.in/ . As per DGCA’s

manual it says ( highlighted text)

Indian Certificate for Secondary Education (ICSE) :

ICSE Verification is online and relatively easy than State
Board. You can follow the detailed instructions to get
your ICSE BVC from the link below. Once you get your
BVC delivered at your home, seal the envelope carefully
and keep it aside.
link -
https://cisce.org/pdf/Instructions_for_Verification.pdf
For icse
If you "apply for yourself (your personal use/need" the sealed envelope will be delivered to
your home address with your name . You are to then open the envelope containing the 10/12
BVC and take a Xerox copy to be sent to CEO along with other documents for Computer
Number

If however you have selected the option to "apply for govt organization and in particular
DGCA CEO " it will be delivered ti your home address but with the details and name of the
Central examination organization . You should then send that sealed envelope containing the
BVC as it is to CEO along with other relevant documents for Computer Number . You cannot
open the sealed envelope in this scenario . If you do so you will definitely get rejected for
Computer Number .
For NIOS
You need to send the hard copy Xerox of your NIOS marksheet along with a Demand
Draft(DD) of Rs-750/- (prices might have changed now) , your address proofs such as Aadhar
card etc self attested. Along with an application to the secretary for board verification and
reasons for getting verification for DGCA exams with your application ID , reference ID and
enrollment number with name , address, signature, and phone number to the NIOS
headquarters .
