The INTORQ switchgear range
In almost all application cases, the comprehensive range INTORQ high-speed switchgear
of INTORQ switchgear provides the ideal voltage supply INTORQ high-speed switchgear can bring decisive
solution for advantages in respect of the control of:
| Electromagnetic clutches and brakes 1. Electromagnetic clutches and brakes and clutch/brake
| Spring-applied brakes combinations: achieving
| Clutch/brake combinations | Considerably reduced operating times
| Double clutches | Improved stopping accuracy
| Solenoids and | Increased operating frequency
| Solenoid valves 2. Spring-applied brakes, achieving
| Reduced engagement and disengagement times
INTORQ switchgear types essentially differ in respect of the | Increased operating frequency
switching of the coil current: | Reduced wear of friction linings
| With contact (straightforward switching) or | Increased reliability
| With transistor (wear free) | Reduced amount of time and effort spent on
and the type of excitation: maintenance
| Normal excitation or 3. Brakes on brake motors, achieving
| High-speed excitation | Improved stopping accuracy
| Reduced motor temperature, even at increased
Switchgear can be controlled by contacts, proximity operating frequency
switches, photoelectric barriers or control voltages
(e.g. from a PLC). For some types of switchgear, short
change-over pulses will suffice.
