Most Essential Learning Competency: From product labels, identify the active
ingredient(s) of cleaning products used at home.
Procedure:
Safety Precautions: You may wear lab gowns/ apron and hand gloves to avoid any
spills that may get in contact with your body/ skin. Materials used are not corrosive nor
hazardous.
1. Prepare all necessary materials needed in this experiment.
2. Put the 2 cups of water in the bottle sprayer.
3. Carefully add the 2 tsp pf vinegar
4. Then, add 2 squeezes of alcohol (optional-to have our solution more hygienic)
5. Next is to mix the calamansi or lemon extract to the solution.
6. Slowly add the baking soda and take precautions as it may cause bubbling and
bursting effect.
7. Add the drops of essential oil. (Optional - to add more fragrance to the solution)
8. And lastly, carefully mix well the solution and have it ready to use.
(This solution may be used to clean glass, plastics, cement, stainless, and ceramics
products only)
