Continuing Professional Education (CPE) is a non-degree program that provides

knowledge in basic professional education course. It assists the students to develop their
professional precept and to manifest and/or assert them to become an avocation of education
profession.

As future educator these subjects enable us to gain knowledge and skills especially, in
dealing with our students, co-workers, and other stakeholders. Through these subjects we can
learn and re-create effective teaching as well as understand different learning styles, create
curriculum, and prepares us to our future profession.

The General Education Curriculum (GEC) tends to enhance the students' interaction
skills and to handle and resolve issues of personal and professional ethics. It strives to help the
students to become a devoted participant in a democratic society, such as societal and cultural
issues and for them to be able to achieve an intellectual integration and awareness to meet their
challenges in life either personal, social or in their personal lives.

As future educator, these subjects allow us to enrich out skills in communication, social
skills, psychological state, and mathematical skills which is very important as a facilitator of
learning for it provides basic foundation of learning.

Fundamentals of Peace Education helps us gain knowledge, enhance our skills in the
area of peace, and form a good attitude about the meaning of peace in human life. It promotes
conflict resolution and values such as respect for human rights, freedom, and confidence. And
this knowledge is important to every teacher because it helps us to convey values and characters
towards our students.

Mathematics Education (EDM) As future mathematics educators, this subject is very

important to us. It helps us develop a deeper understanding about mathematics and how it was
developed. This subject allows us to travel through time and explore the greatest mathematicians
and their discoveries.

History subjects help us develop a better understanding of the world. It helps us

understand other people through their cultures, traditions, and beliefs. It provides our identity and
shows us models of behavior. It helps us understand how a society can change and develop. It is
useful in our profession because there’s a big possibility that our students are multi-cultural.
With the knowledge we have we can easily connect with our students and understand them
despite of differences.

Subjects that are under in this course highlight our focused course major. In this,
mathematical domain is highlighted. MAT subjects help us to enhance and develop our
intelligence in mathematical conception.

Physical Education courses remind us to regulate our physical domain, merely our
health relations, to look after it and to manage our fitness to maintain our health condition. As a
teacher, there is a possibility that we will also teach this subject

As future educator, NSTP develops our love for our country and to learn skills that
prepares us to any disasters or possible accidents that may occur within the classroom or school.
Also, it develops our core values in discipline and leadership which are vital in honing the
characters of our students.

Overall, all subjects that was introduced to us has an important factor in different aspect
of being a teacher. As teachers, we should be flexible and skilled in every areas of education. We
should be a good communicator, adaptable and must have a dedication to continued education
and love of learning.
