OLP Day 2

Karmarama – reading culture

Taken from the Karmarama LinkedIn page:

“We are a London based independent integrated communications agency,

focused on producing highly creative and impactful communications for clients
including the BBC, Air New Zealand, Iceland and Honda.
We were founded in 2000, with four staff working around a ping-pong table in
a tiny office.
Over the last 14 years we have steadily grown each year into a successful
business with a long list of clients and over 250 employees under one roof.
We have an eclectic group of people from all corners of the world who are
friendly, hard working entrepreneurs concentrated on producing the most
outstanding work for our clients.
In recent years marketing has evolved exponentially. New channels have lead
to a torrent of new specialisms and new agencies for clients to manage.
We’ve seen endless new silos built which don’t work for clients.
Our agency is different. We have no silos. We refused to make digital a
department as it is a medium that runs through everything. The same goes for
mobile, social, content and whatever is next on the horizon.
We draw from these specialists to form bespoke teams around our clients’
needs and goals at different times.
Our Good Works mantra touches everything we do; from client work to how do
we interact with each other. We live and breathe our values of Collaboration,
Care and Candour. We nominate each other for living the values and once a
month one person is being titled with the Employee of the Month award.
We believe that an honest, open, collaborative and fun workplace is vital to
create the best work.
Our culture runs deep throughout the agency, encompassing everything from
our legendary parties, ski trips, culture events, social initiatives and obsession
with Ping Pong.”
