and student interactions
- Organize and collaborate with peers across the district to host college fairs, career fairs, and other college awareness
events

increase a college-going culture at Thomas Jefferson High School

Resubmit). Racial identity exploration and academic belonging: LatinX faculty navigating the
counters of Latinidad. Submitted to Journal of Diversity in Higher Education.

- Summer 2020 – Present: HEASA Nueva Alianza – part of group of graduate students who revived this graduate
student organization at the University of Texas at San Antonio in the Department of Educational Leadership and
Policy Studies. Served as the Vice President of Communication.

- Summer 2021 – Present: Internship experience – worked to create curriculum around the seasons of college advising
for new counselors and administrators for the Thomas Jefferson High School. This curriculum is grounded in theory
and involves teaching and coaching our faculty to view our students through an asset-based understanding.
