consideration of various perspectives and the ability to present a compelling argument. One must
delve into the complexities surrounding the issue, balancing the benefits and drawbacks of assigning
homework. The challenge lies in presenting a well-reasoned and persuasive case that resonates with
the audience.
To start, one must thoroughly research and understand the existing literature on the subject. This
involves exploring academic studies, educational theories, and expert opinions to gain a
comprehensive understanding of the multifaceted nature of homework. Simultaneously, it is essential
to consider the practical aspects, such as the impact of homework on students' academic
performance, mental well-being, and overall development.
Crafting a persuasive essay also requires the ability to analyze and synthesize information effectively.
The writer must sift through a plethora of data, selecting the most relevant and compelling evidence
to support their arguments. Additionally, anticipating counterarguments and addressing them with
well-founded counterpoints is crucial to strengthen the overall persuasiveness of the essay.
Structuring the essay is another significant challenge. Organizing thoughts coherently and ensuring a
logical flow of ideas demands meticulous planning. The introduction should grab the reader's
attention, clearly state the thesis, and provide an overview of the main arguments. Each body
paragraph must focus on a specific aspect, supported by evidence, and seamlessly transition to the
next point. Finally, the conclusion should reinforce the main points and leave a lasting impression on
the reader.
Moreover, finding a balance between ethos, pathos, and logos is essential in a persuasive essay. The
writer needs to appeal to the reader's emotions, establish credibility, and present logical reasoning to
make a compelling case.
In conclusion, crafting a persuasive essay on the topic of homework demands thorough research,
analytical skills, and effective organization. It is a nuanced task that requires a deep understanding of

Comparing The Novel Out, Out And Disabled
Compare the ways in which the writers create sympathy in Out, Out and Disabled
In the poems, Robert Frost and Wilfred Owen both create sympathy for the characters
through different ways. In Disabled , Owen paints a vivid, moving picture of a soldier
who has been injured in World War One and lost his legs and an arm. Wilfred Owen
himself took part in the war, consequently witnessing first hand many young men
whose lives were similarly destroyed. In the poem, Out, Out , Robert Frost shows the
fragility of life in two ways. Firstly alluding to Shakespeare s metaphor in Macbeth s
soliloquy Out, out, brief candle , which informs the reader that life is very short and
fragile. Moreover, Frost looks at the themes of sudden death and child labour to help to
make this a very sad and shocking poem. The poem reflects the tragedy of the accidental
death of a child doing a man s job. Frost s description of setting, imagery, and tone create
a moving poem with a horrifying ending that leaves the reader feeling despaired at the
bleakness of the situation and quite shocked.
Even in the structure of the poem, Wilfred Owen shows us a compassionate portrait of
loss by switching between and comparing the soldier s experiences before and after war
time, and the related memories and emotions, for instance:
And girls glanced lovelier as the air grew dim
In old times, before he threw away his knees .
This example shows the constant comparison and reminder of the soldier s loss

The Government of Canada must not ban the use of tasers for all police officers in
Canada because tasers saves lives. Tasers saves more lives than people think. There
has only been 26 deaths(because of tasers) from 2003 to the present in Canada. That
number compared to the thousands of times that tasers have been used, means a very
low death ratio. As well as the possibility of someone dying with a healthy heart from
being tasered is also very low. Tasers were not made to deliberately kill someone, but to
