Description : MPower is established in 1997 and designed to be the first truly global full-service
media company. MPower is part of the WPP (Wire & Plastic Products Company) network of
over 80 communications companies. MPower as the name of the product stands is a tool which
is being used by MPower for their Media Planning Activities.

2. AD Migration Project
Description : AD Migration project is to migrate all the MPower Lotus Directory Accounts toActive
Directory Accounts. This includes Internal User Accounts (MPower Employee Accounts) &External
User Accounts (Customer’s Accounts). It provides a means for system administratorsto manage
External User Accounts in Active Directory. Users can change their password anddiagnose
problems in their account if any.The aim of this exercise was to move all applications to Active
directory authentication.Thisincludes development of a Web Service which provides an interface
for all Active Directoryrelated operations like searching, creating, validating, manipulating,
maintaining state anddeleting ADObjects like Users, Groups and OU’s. The applications were
categorized as webapplications and client server application.Responsibilities :
● Involved in requirement analysis and detailed design.
● Developing and Maintaining Webservices to provide interface for all Active Directory related
operations.
● Devloping and executing NUnit scripts.
● Unit and Integration Testing.
● Bug fixing and functional enhancements.
Description : The Global MasterFiles application serves the purpose of maintaining master data
for the MPower suite of applications. It provides the user interface design and functionality to
accommodate the maintenance of multiple applications via one user interface. The objective of
Global MasterFiles is to organize the master data by application, easily maintain increased
amounts of master data, and facilitate an organized and componentized architecture that is also
based on application. This creates a scalable Global MasterFiles system to support future MPower
applications.
