JINGLE MAKING CONTEST

Mechanics and Criteria

1. This contest is open to all SHS students.

2. Each group will compose of Five (5) members.

3. The content of the jingle must lively, appealing and creative and must

showcase theme of Pasiklab Part I and Nutrition Month.

4. Lyrics should not contain vulgar and rude words. Violation for this

guidelines will result to disqualification.

5. The jingle must be in English, Tagalog or a combination and must be

less than 3 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes playing time.

6. The jingle must be an original composition.

7. Any instrument can be used as accompaniment at the composer’s

discretion.

8. The following criteria shall be used in judging:

Composition

(Catchy, melody, lively music, rhythm and recall)
Relevance to the theme 20%
Lyric Content
15%
(originality, clarity of message, language and phrasing)
Creativity
15%
(use of structure, instruments and vocal)
Appeal/Impact 10%
