Proposed Flow for Ananda for Agents

The following is the detailed technical flow of ANANDA, for agents and CLIAs. Please read the steps
carefully and understand it fully. We start from the stage where the agent is sitting with the
customer, canvassing him to buy LIC products. Please note mapped LIC branch, in the document,
pertains to the branch to which agent is mapped.

1. The agents logs on to the ANANDA portal, using login Id and password, allotted to him
for agents' portal.

2. After the very first login, the agent needs to undergo paperless eKYC. This is a one time
process for agents. The link to download aadhar xml zipped file is given on the website
under ADMIN tab, which will redirect to the UIDAI website to download xml zipped file,
if not already downloaded. After downloading the xml zipped file, it has to be
uploaded for eKyc to be complete. The eKYC contains photo, gender, name, address
and date of birth. eKYC is mandatory in ANANDA. The link to download aadhar xml
zipped file is :

https://resident.uidai.gov.in/offline-kyc

3. Please note at this stage, the agent's ekyc zipped file has to be uploaded and not the
customer's.

4. In the next step, the agent lands on the page where he will get a number of options as
follows :

a. Premium Calculator and Lead generation - This option has to be used for Premium
calculation and lead generation.

b. Pending leads - Leads which have been created by the agent on ANANDA portal
itself as explained in step (a), above, but proposal form not filled. Here the mapped
LIC branch code is already present in the lead records.

c. Pending for Customer verification - Cases for which the agent has filled the proposal
and ACR and the verification link has been sent to customer but the customer has
not verified.

d. Pending proposals - Cases for which customer has ratified the proposal and the
proposal has been registered at the mapped LIC branch, but policy has not been
completed.

5. The agent clicks on the premium calculator & Lead Generation tab . On clicking the tab,
the AGENT will be directed to choose the plan and click on the premium tab to calculate
the premium. He can click on details tab to see the details of the product also. He can
generate any number of premium quotations and benefit ids to find out different
permutations and combination based on plan parameters like plan, age, term etc. He also
has the option to save this quote for future use. The AGENT clicks on confirm and
proceed once the premium quote is finalised i.e the sum assured, riders, premium
combination for the proposal which customer has agreed for. If not finalized, the
process of premium calculation and BI generation can be repeated.

6. The next page will show the agency details and premium details. The AGENT clicks on
“Generate Lead”. It will result in generation of an access-id which will be the unique
reference id for the proposal which can be used for all the further actions. The agent
can also chose satellite branch at this step. A list of satellite branches mapped to the
agent's branch will be displayed at this step. Choosing satellite branch is optional.

7. After lead generation and selecting the accessid he want to use, the remaining parts of
the proposal details needs to be filled. There is one option given to copy data from any
previous LIC policy of the customer. The AGENT can use this option to pre-fill basic
details like father's name etc or if he can simply click on Proceed to go to next step.

8. After clicking proceed, an option to do paperless aadhar xml based eKYC of the
customer is available. The link to download aadhar xml zipped file is given on the
website under ADMIN tab, which will redirect to UIDAI website to download xml zipped
file, if not already downloaded After downloading the xml zipped file, it has to be
uploaded for eKyc to be complete. The eKyc contains photo, gender, name, address
and date of birth. eKyc is mandatory in ANANDA. The link to download aadhar xml
zipped file is :

https://resident.uidai.gov.in/offline-kyc

9. Please note at this stage, the customer's ekyc zipped file has to be uploaded and not of
the AGENT's.The fields (as derived from aadhar based XML) will get auto-populated on
the proposal form - name, date of birth , photo, gender , address . These fields will not
be editable. The age (lbd/nbd as required) will be derived based on date of birth and will
be non editable. Please note since the eKYC is aadhar based, the date of birth of
customer as present in lead should match with the date of birth of customer in Aadhar.

10. After this ,the AGENT needs to fill the entire proposal form and submit the data. There
are multiple steps with group of questions of the proposal form . In each step, the data
will be validated for ensuring correct entries. Any errors / issues will be shown to the
AGENT at that instant. At the end of each step the AGENT needs to click on Save and
Proceed. The age proof , address proof and ID proof of the customer will be Aadhar by
default.

11. Once the AGENT fills the entire proposal data and Covid Annexure, the data will be
sent into online Underwriting Rule cum Validation engine to ensure the proposal meets
the requirements for the product, for which it is being submitted. Any errors / issues
will be shown to the AGENT instantly.

Post the underwriting step, ACR will be required to be filled.

After filling of ACR, the following options will be displayed -

a. View Proposal Pdf - This option is used to view the Proposal filled. The proposal
document shown to the AGENT consists of Suitability Analysis, Benefit illustration,

fields and fields related to the premium input combination.

details he has generated on the mapped LIC branch's cash counter or the
merchant's portal. After keying in the BOC details, the proposal verification link
will be sent to the customer.
 Online Payment - If the agent selects this option, the proposal verification cum
online payment link will be sent to the customer.
For ULIP plans, as per CO-NB instructions ,only online payment option will be
allowed.

12. The customer has to click on the link received on his email .On clicking the link, the
entire proposal document (as filled in by the AGENT will be displayed to the customer).
The proposal document shown to the customer consists of Suitability Analysis, Benefit
illustration, Proposal Form, eKYC documents and covid annexure. The customer will
not be able to view the ACR part, filled by the Agent.

13. The customer can go through the entire proposal form and make corrections if required,
barring the fields based on e-KYC and plan parameters. Then the customer approves the
proposal data and clicks on Proceed.

14. If the customer edits anything, the entire proposal form will be again be validated
through the online underwriting rule engine. Please note the customer is not allowed to

payment gateway to make online payment of the required amount(premium +
applicable GST). Post successful online payment, the BOC gets created instantly
at the mapped LIC branch and the proposal data gets merged along with the
BOC details.

Please note the customer need not worry about the option, what the agent had chosen.

should esign the proposal using his own VID. Kindly note , if the AGENT's VID is used for
esigning the proposal, the esign will fail. The customer also gets the esigning link for the
proposal in his email, in case he wants to sign later. The link for generation of AADHAR
VID is :

https://resident.uidai.gov.in/vid-generation

17. The AGENT receives a link through email for esigning of the ACR.The AGENT can use the
same to e-Sign the ACR. The AGENT should esign the ACR using his own VID. Kindly note
, if the customer's VID is used for esigning the ACR, the esign will fail.

18. In order to avoid confusion, the esign application displays the name of the person whose
VID is to be keyed in just before redirecting to CDAC's website, where in the VID is keyed
in. The e-sign should be done carefully.

19. Once both e-signing of Proposal and ACR are completed, the documents are escalated to
efeap servicing branch for viewing by the mapped LIC branch NB team , so that they can
complete the proposal. It is to be noted that after esign of proposal and esign of ACR, a
mail is sent to the concerned mapped LIC branch, informing them of the proposal details

their supervised agents. As of now CLIAs are using ANANDA for processing proposals on their own
agency codes and that process remains the same.

The CLIA uses his merchant portal id and password OR his agency portal id and
password to login . It is the same way/same option he uses to login to ANANDA portal as
of now. There is no change.

2. After the very first login, the CLIA needs to undergo paperless eKYC. This is a one time
process for CLIAs. After downloading the xml zipped file, it has to be uploaded for
eKYC to be complete. The eKYC contains photo, gender, name, address and date of
birth of CLIA. eKYC is mandatory in ANANDA. The link to download aadhar xml zipped
