How to Load Libraries on Yamaha Montage

1. Connect a USB flash memory device to the [USB TO DEVICE] terminal of this instrument.

2. Press the [UTILITY] button to call up the Utility display, and then touch [Contents] tab
[Load] tab at the left side of the display. *

3. Set “Content Type” to “Library File.”

4. Select the desired folder of the USB flash memory device.

5. Select the file (extension: .X7L) of the memory to execute the Load operation.

NOTICE
This instrument features a built-in [USB TO DEVICE] terminal. When connecting a USB
device to the terminal, be sure to handle the USB device with care. Follow the important
precautions below.

The Load operation overwrites any data previously existing in this instrument.
Important data should always be saved to a USB flash memory device connected to the
[USB TO DEVICE] terminal.
* If you want to load sequences (it present), you have to select the file with .X7A extension
(backup file).

Make sure to make a backup to avoid accidental loss of data.

Please note that all pre-existing bank data used by any library will be overwritten. You must have free user locations.
