ABSTRACT

The background and purpose for the formation of this business proposal is to
propose in detail the concept formation and business management that will be carried out.
As well as making a reference for the formation of the next concept.

In this business, we use the total budget as much of ID 213,000,000.00, it will refer
to several customer segments or target sales, namely President University students,
Workers, Family and Close friends, Classmates, Neighbors, Colleague.

With the existing idea, we chose to build a restaurant business which has a special
value propotion to characterize the business we will be running. Among them are Have a
distinctive taste of cuisine with spices or secret recipes, providing affordable prices with
quality food, unique and interesting atmosphere and places, welcoming customers who
come, provide additional entertainment such as classical music.

Praise the presence of Allah SWT for giving His grace and guidance so that we can
complete this proposal regarding the Business Development Plan.

The purpose of the writing of this paper is to fulfill the duties of sir. Mohamad Toha
and Sir. Berthy B. Rahawarin in integrative survival to industrial engineering course In
addition, this proposal also aims to add insight into business development and also to
instill a business spirit for readers as well as for writers.

We thank sir. Mohamad Toha and Sir. Berthy B. Rahawarin as a survival to


industrial engineering course lecturer who has given this assignment so that he can add
knowledge and insight according to my field of study.

We also thank all those who have shared some of their knowledge so that we can
complete this paper.

Werealized that the paper that we wrote was far from perfect. Therefore, we will wait
for constructive criticism and suggestions for the perfection of this paper.

I. INTRODUCTION

1.1. Background

The majority of Indonesian peoples work as employees, for improving the


country's economy, Indonesia needs a great population work in the field of
entrepreneurship. However, the entrepreneurs or the known as entrepreneurs in
Indonesia is still less than other country. with that, here we will do business design
plan that will be built in the future.

In doing this business design plan we will carry out several stages of the steps to
do it, including brainstorming, concept development, business strategy, market
analysist, and many others. here we will also carry out critical thinking activities to
determine the problems that will be faced in this business development process.

1.2. Opportunities and obstacles

The first step in choosing the business is do a brainstorming to determine the type
of business we will build. In this brainstorming, we have to think about possible
opportunities, especially the customer segment. But in doing this step, of course we
get a lot of problems when discussing and exchanging ideas, this is because we cannot
meet directly with other members because conditions are not possible at this time, so
we cannot discuss maximally.

1.3. Purpose and objective


The purpose off our project is :
a. Fulfill the task of integrative survival to IE
b. Determine a business that is possible to build in the future
c. Determine the opportunities and obstacles that will be faced in building a business
d. Build a mentality of business

e. Make the fresh and high quality food, good atmosphere, and good service with
providing affordable prices and quality food including classical music entertain
f. Get the target market, namely President University students, Workers, Family and
close friend, Classmates, Neighbors, Colleague

II. BUSSINES IDEA

2.1. Collecting ideas

In collecting ideas we do a brainstorming with some considerations about the


businesses that we have to choose, such as business strengths, opportunities and
others. here are the ideas we have successfully collected :

1. Ilham Novear A: A business selling local traditional snacks (sanjai balado)

reason: because there are many people who like it and hard to find and there are no
similar businesses or competitors.

2. Fadhil Ilham Pratama: Tofu business (Tahu brontak)

Reason: Because it tastes good and it's easy to make but it's hard to get in cikarang.

3. Fajar Syahrulhaj Ilmiyatulloh: Fish Business.

Reason: Because the cultivation method is more efficient in terms of the cost of space
or land and Hickey business competition is already heavy or a lot.

4. Rifkah iqbal: Distro.

Reason: because clothes is an item that is much needed, so it’s expected to find
customers easily, but the problem it’s hard to found a suppliers which is cheap and
quality clothes.

5. Intania Romadhona Aldini: Restaurant Business.

Reason: because restaurants are one of the places visited by many people, and
restaurants are included in businesses that can be built by anyone because they can
explain or develop an innovation ranging from food menus, restaurant decorations,
and in building restaurants to obtain ingredients. food is easy to find.

6. Hafidz Alfarisi: Coffee Shop.

Reason: Because more and more coffee lovers and teenagers are starting to socialize
actively, that's why we can provide a comfortable gathering place, namely a cafe and
provide various kinds of coffee drinks that everyone will love.

2.2. Business seletion

After we brainstormed by considering all the things that we thought were important,
we chose to build a restaurant business. In addition to restaurants as the main business,
we also demand a backup business if the main business does not possible to built, it is a
coffee shop business.

3.1. Hypothesis:

A restaurant is one of the most sought after spots when relaxing, gathering with
family or friends However, it is difficult to find a place to eat that provides high
quality food, service and a comfortable and quiet atmosphere.

4.1. Activity to prepare the business

We have some activities before doing the business, activities to prepare the
business. To start our business activities we do :
1. Deciding what business to create
2. Negotiating the budget that will be used to build the business
3. Create a concept about the business that is created
4. Arrange financial management, services etc
5. Survey a strategic place to set up the business
6. Test the food and drink that will be served, starting from appearance,
taste
7. Determine marketing targets
8. Determine how to promote, and launch the business when it is formed
and executed

In building a business we will also find several risks, causes and ways to
overcome them, including the table below:

Before continuing to create a business concept, we conducted a place survey for


our business so that opportunities and strategic places could be seen and good to
continue. Among them are:

a. We are doing a survey about food business opportunities by looking at the


problem where there are only a few Indonesian foods available around our target
market
b. Designing designs and the concept of building a restaurant
c. Plan the budget needed for the construction of a restaurant
d. Take care of business license
e. Complete the restaurant documents
f. recruiting employees

V. CONCLUTION AND RECOMENTATION

A. Conclution

Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the data, the authors obtain
conclusions that can be drawn from this research :

1. After doing a brainstrom we determine the main business to be built is a restaurant.


Our target customers will be Pu student, workers, family and close friend,
classmates, neighbors and colleague

3. Our value propotition is Fresh and high quality food, good atmosphere, and good
service with providing affordable prices and quality food including classical music
entertain. Schedule and budget

4. From the business we have determined we can predict a monthly income of IDR
32,400,000

5. The restaurant business is a promising business, so by becoming a restaurant


entrepreneur, we can get huge profits.

B. Recommendation
Due to the current situation that is not possible due to the pandemic, we will conduct
further analysis which of course relates to the opportunities and possibilities of this
pandemic.

This business deserves to be continued and applied because based on the canvas
business model, this business has good prospects in the future because the target market
is quite wide and the prices are affordable.
