Section three. Specific requirements for slings


O constructed from galvanized marine ropes
in accordance with BS 365

14. Rope construction


Slings shall be constructed from 6 x 24 fibre-cored rope of
the type given in table 4 of BS 365 : 1968.

15. Safe working load


The SWLs of slings constructed from ropes in accordance
with BS 365 shall be as given in table 3. See also
appendix B.
