When it comes to the success of any project, quality control impacts all phases of the

construction process.
Quality control is a management system that focuses on construction quality: a final building
or renovated space that is leak free with finishes that age well and stand the test of time.
Achieving quality in construction goes beyond the associates of a construction company
alone and extends to trade partners who will be putting the work in place. While most
companies create some sort of quality control guidelines, not every company will surpass
basic requirements.
In the project delivery process, management of the quality of the product for services is one
of the important things quality control is the part of quality management that ensures
products and services compiled with requirement. Certain elements of the project such as
soil compaction, strength of concrete, welding etc are checked and tested by inspecting
organization. These tests are performed during the execution of the work and quality of the
work is determined. The quality of element is checked by the architect at same time, during
the site visit. The architect or contractor make a list of items that needs to be corrected and
quality matches the standard of work. The project manager or head is responsible for the
quality of work. Contractors do not have a written program which effects the quality
management project. A more structured approach is to draft a quality management program,
trained supervision on the process, review performance and results of the work. The
contractor needs to assure themselves of clear understanding of any specified quality
standard and that workman ship is linked to specific and measurable standards. So as
architect also know the quality standard and how the work is executed. If there is no
clarification of quality then, there is always complexity involved in a work.

Quality management affects all stages of the design process when it comes to project
success.
Quality control is a management mechanism that relies on design quality: a finished
structure or restored room that is clean of leaks and has finishes that age well. Quality
building reaches beyond the associates of a construction firm and has trade partners who
may be doing the job. While most businesses establish quality management procedures, not
all business can go beyond and above the minimum standards.
One of the most critical aspects of the project implementation process is managing the
consistency of the goods for services. Quality control is a component of quality management
that guarantees that goods and services meet specifications. Inspection organisations
review and test certain aspects of the building, such as soil compaction, structural efficiency,
welding, and so on. These measurements are carried out as the work is being completed,
and the accuracy of the work is assessed. During the site tour, the architect inspects the
consistency of each element. The builder or contractor has a list of things that need to be
fixed, and the consistency of the work meets the standard.
The project manager or head is in charge of the work's efficiency. Contractors lack a written
schedule, which has an effect on the project's quality control. A more formal solution will be
to draught a quality control policy, provide professional supervision for the process, and
evaluate the work's success and outcomes. Any defined quality level must be clearly
understood by the contractor, and workmanship must be related to precise and observable
requirements. As an architect, you should be aware of the production standards and how the
work is carried out. There will still be uncertainty in a work where there is no clarification of
consistency.
