4.0 Importance of Logging Off

4.1 Saving of Personal settings

Within the IFS application, users can personalize their experience. If a user clicks the X in
the application to close it or choses to close or exit without logging off, all personal settings will be
lost. This includes columns, export file channel settings, background colors, currency format, etc

4.2 IFS Concurrent Licensing

The company has concurrent Licensing agreement with IFS. This means that a set number
of licenses can be used at the same time, thus limiting the number of users logged on at the same
time. If you do not log off properly, you lock a license for up to 12 hours, which reduces the number
of individuals that can log on to the application. The concurrent licensing saves the company money
by ensuring we are not paying for licenses that are not always in use, thus balancing company
requirements with cost.
