A. Enclosures- Wealthy landowners taking over & consolidating peasant land to create
larger farms.

1. Land owners experimented with more productive harvesting methods.
2. Caused small time farmers to move to cities to find work.
B. Agricultural Inventions
1. Jethro Tull’s Seed Drill- Planted straight rows of seeds instead of just
scattering them around and hoping for the best.

2. Crop Rotation- Rotating crops to avoid depleting or overusing the soil.
