Method of Procedure Upgrade IDU Software of FibeAir IP-20 C/G

To Version 10.7

I. Downloading S/W file(s) into IDU Directly from PC.

Uploading S/W file(s) with .zip extension file into IDU/ODU directly from your PC that you
currently use accessing the IDU/ODU.
Only available for NE with S/W version 10.x.

1. Download and save S/W file with .zip extension file on your PC.

2. Access the IDU IP through your browser on your PC

Fill the user and password.

3. Go to the menu: Platform -> Software -> Download & Install.

You can see Current Running Version of the NE

Thick the “HTTP” at Software Download option and klick “Choose File” button.

4. Choose the file stored on your PC and click “Open” button.

5. Click the “Download” button and click “OK” at the popup confirmation
message.
Wait until download process done.

6. Once your download is done.

You can continue the installation of the new S/W.
Click the “Install” button and the “OK” button of the pop-up message confirmation.

7. When Installation Progress is done.

The “Installation Status” will marked with “Installation Success” then IDU/ODU will be
automatically restart.
The restart time take about 2 – 5 minutes.

8. Re-login into IDU/ODU.

Go to the menu: Platform -> Software -> Versions.
It should be same as the software version that recently installed.

II. Downloading S/W file(s) into IDU Using FTP.

Downloading S/W files into IDU/ODU using FTP access from PC or Server where the S/W
placed with FTP Server configured.

1. Access the IDU IP through your browser on your PC.

Fill the user and password.

2. Go to the menu: Platform -> Software -> Download & Install.

You can see Current Running Version of the NE.
a. For current Software Running Version 10.x.
a) Thick the “FTP” at Software Download option and click the “FTP Parameters”
button. Fill the FTP form at the popup window with correct FTP parameter given
and click “Apply” button after.
b) Click “FTP Port” button, and make sure the FTP port is “21”
Otherwise, change it to “21” and click “Apply” button.

FTP Parameter:
File transfer protocol: FTP
Username: ceragon
Password: ceragon
Server IPv4 address: 172.28.40.4
Path:
IP-20C: /IP20C-G2U-10.7_Charly
IP-20G: /IP20G_G2U-10.7_Golf

b. For current Software Running Version 9.x or below.

Fill the FTP form at the popup window with correct FTP parameter given and click
“Apply” button after.

FTP Parameter:
File transfer protocol: FTP
Username: ceragon
Password: ceragon
Server IPv4 address: 172.28.40.4
Path:
IP-20C: /IP20C-G2U-10.7_Charly
IP-20G: /IP20G_G2U-10.7_Golf

3. Click the “Download” button and click “OK” at the popup confirmation
message.
Wait until download process is done.

5. Once your download is done.

You can continue the installation of the new S/W.
Click the “Install” button and the “OK” button of the pop-up message confirmation.
