Remote Access VPN (IPsec) Guide for Noida B-19

1. Visit the Link https://www.forticlient.com/downloads

2. Over FortiClient VPN Section, please click on Download for Windows / Download for MacOS
according to your system OS.

Note: For Windows 7 OS, you need to download FortiClient 6.0 (scroll down on same webpage)

3. Install FortiClient 6.2 Software into your system

Please find another attachment “FortiClient Installation Guide” for your reference.

4. After Installation of FortiClient, select the FortiClient ICON under taskbar (Bottom-Right corner) and
double-click to open.
5. Over the FortiClient VPN Page click check the 'I acknowledge...' and click on “I Accept”

6. Then click on “Configure VPN”

7. A. Then select “IPsec VPN” over VPN Section,
B. Put “NEWGEN-WFH” in Connection Name space (IN CAPITAL letters only),
C. Then put the Public IP “14.142.3.154” as Remote Gateway.
D. Under Authentication method select “Pre-shared Key” by drop-down options and put
“Newgen@123” as pre-shared key (case sensitive).
E. And then click on Save

8. Please don’t not make any change in the “advanced settings”.

9. Now check the VPN Name, it should be “NEWGEN-WFH”. Provide your Newgen Domain Credentials
(Domain username and password) in username and password field and click on Connect.

10. Now it will connect into the Newgen Network and appear as below.

11. Please make sure that your Proxy settings must be Auto detect settings.
12. Now you can take RDP/MSTSC of your Newgen Local machines and other concern resources.
