FIVE GREAT JOBS

Are you unhappy with your job? Do you feel like you are trapped in a rut? Here is a list of five
jobs that you may not even know existed.

Professional sleeper
Have you always wanted to get paid to do nothing but sleep? You may consider applying for a
job as a professional sleeper. Professional sleepers mostly help doctors and scientists with
their research on sleep disorders. They are also needed for many kinds of different projects
that have nothing to do with science. For example, in 2009, women were paid to sleep at a
'living art' exhibition at the MOMA Museum in New York.

Panda caretaker
Your task: spending 365 days with panda bears. The China Giant Panda Protection in Ya'an is
offering a salary of $35,000 a year, free meals and free accommodation. Applicants must be at
least 22 years old, have a basic knowledge of pandas and good writing and photography skills.

Island caretaker
Australia's Queensland Tourism Board was looking for an island caretaker in 2009. The job
required living on an island in the Great Barrier Reef for six months and filming and blogging
about it. The salary was 160,000 Australian dollars (or 115,000 US dollars). The Board
advertised this job as 'officially the best job in the world'.

LEGO sculptor
Did you use to play with LEGO blocks when you were a child? You can relive those memories as
a certified LEGO professional and help the company build models at one of its Discovery
Centres around the world. Applicants for the job must record themselves on video creating
something interesting and send the video for the company's consideration.

Ethical hacker
Ethical hackers are computer experts who take orders from big companies and attack their
security systems in order to make them safer and to avoid attacks from malicious hackers.
Applicants can expect to earn up to $125,000 a year and need a bachelor's degree in computer
science or information technology
