 DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Surface Preparation
Ensure that the surface to be painted is free
from loose paint, dust, grease and algae, by
vigorous wire brushing, cleaning with water.

Surface Smoothening / Crack Filling

Walls may have slight irregularities and
imperfections such as holes, dents and cracks.
Asian Paints TruCare Asian Wall Putty is
recommended to smoothen the wall surface.

Asian Paints SmartCare Crack Seal can bridge cracks 3mm in

width, by filling compound into both interior and exterior
masonry surfaces.

Primer Coat
Before application of the topcoat, apply a coat
of an exterior durable primer. For fresh
surfaces, we recommend Asian Paints
SmartCare Primero, specially designed for
application on fresh plaster and manufactured
sand substrates.
On fully cured plaster surfaces and for re-painting,
you can alternatively use Asian Paints TruCare
Exterior Wall Primer.

Top Coat
Apply 2-3 coats by diluting 1 litre of Asian Paints
Apex Ultima (XU) with maximum 400 ml of
water. A gap of 4-6 hours should be given
between two coats.

100% acrylic, anti algal, high
performance exterior wall finish.
