I Can Read
Cut out the cards and laminate them.

A few tips:

There really isn’t an order to follow and mixing them up occasionally with help
determine if they have memorized them or are reading them.

There are cards that use the same letter for each vowel and some that
switch them up a bit. I wanted most of the words to be real words they would
see in the future.

Read the letters as sounds and not as letters.

Punch a hole in the corner and thread onto a key ring for taking along with
you.

Kids can get easily frustrated when trying to learn new things at times. Take a
break if you see them starting to stress. Do something else for a minute and
then come back to it later.

Make a game out of it. Say a word and have them find it on the page.
