GANDAGI MUKT MERA GAON (MY FILTH FREE

VILLAGE)

You must have heard the saying “cleanliness is next to godliness.” In India many
rural areas are uneducated and not aware of proper hygiene and cleanliness
therefore, the government of India initiated a awareness campaign “gandagi
mukt mera gaon” it is a very important mission as cleanliness is the key feature
to avoid diseases and be hygienic and cleanliness is not just for that, if you are
hygienic and your surrounding are clean you yourself feel more fresh and positive
towards everything.
India has a lot of rural areas which are very rich in culture but because of the
untidiness people don’t visit there often. Though village use more environmental
friendly ways but still villages need to be more hygienic and clean. Years ago ,
villages didn’t used to have washrooms and at the present some villages still don’t
have good sanitation facilities. We need to stop this littering and keep the street,
woods, water bodies and our surroundings clean. We need to make it a habit to
properly dispose the garbage into dustbin and also encourage others to do it. This
is a problem especially in rural areas, also dry and liquid waste should be
separated

Personal hygiene is also very important. This practice includes bathing, washing
your hands, brushing your teeth and more. Right now in this pandemic people in
villages still are a little reckless not all of them but some, This spreading of
diseases can be reduced if we maintain hygiene both indoor and outdoor and
maintain social distancing.
We all have to agree that villages are developing so why not make the people
there more civilized. Lets us all together take small steps towards making india a
better place. At last I will say that -Gandagi Mukt Mera Gaon Mission is a step
closer toward a cleaner, safer and greener India and this drive is possible if all the
citizens could participate in this drive.
