New collection device or technology support

Accuver XCAL DRM support

• Resolved a problem where POLQA UL MOS was not being decoded.

Freewill AzenQOS (AZL) support

• Resolved a problem where LTE_UE_Bandwidth_DL_per_carrier was not set.

• Resolved a problem where UE was not being detected as being in CA-Active state,
and subsequently only the primary carrier data payload was used in throughput
calculations.

• Resolved a problem where a lower number of DL_EARFCN samples were detected

(when compared to the original AZM file).

• Added support for PING task summary information:

o Task_Application_Type
o Ping_RTT_Mean
o Ping_RTT_Max
o Ping_RTT_Min
o Ping_Packet_Size
o Ping_Address / Task_Server_URL (if DNS address is used)
o Packet_Loss

Freewill AzenQOS (AZM) support

• Modified the source table/columns to populate the RTP_Jitter attribute in
milliseconds, rather than by number of packets.

• Resolved a problem where LTE_Event_DetachComplete event was being set

twice.

Huawei GENEX support

• Resolved a problem where the timestamps for a file could be set identically for a
proportion of a file decode.

Infovista TEMS support

• Added support for intra-frequency handovers events where a TEMS event is
triggered.

• Resolved a problem which prevented certain key attributes from being displayed
when Load Time Message Filtering feature was enabled.

© 2018 – Proprietary Information of Actix Ltd, an Amdocs company Page 7 of 18

• Resolved a problem which caused a crash when opening certain TEMS files in
Windows 10.

• Resolved a problem where Layer 3 messages were not being decoded in certain
TEMS Pocket 20.1 files.

• Resolved a problem where LTE PHY Parameter fields were incorrectly populating
PCell attributes. The values now populate the SCell PCI correctly.

Keysight Nemo support

• Changed the timestamp where the Nemo_AQDL_Mean_MOS is set. It is now
hoisted back to the last reported AQRX message, allowing the attribute to be seen
in per call-id queries.

• Changed the mechanism for detecting NB-IoT content, allowing a fuller decode of
the NB-IoT NAS messages and event detection.

Meritech Sigma-ML support

• Resolved a problem where timestamps were not being decoded correctly.

Qualcomm QXDM/chipset support

• Improvements in eMTC attributes:
o Improvements in the QC_LTE_UE_activity_state logic and format group
using LTE ML1 CDRX Events Info log code:
o Awake = “On”, Sleep = “Off”
o Added “Idle” and “Paging/SIB” modes
o Changed to ModeHold attribute type
o Added support for historical LTE ML1 CDRX Events Info v1 log
code.
o Added new events where the LTE ML1 PDCCH-PHICH indication report
detects the UE changes state. A PDCCH segment is a consecutive set of
subframes from PDCCH-PHICH message during which the UE is ON or
PAGING.
The CDRX message can tell us which segment is ON and OFF.
The segments for which there is no CDRX info are PAGING or IDLE:
o QC_LTE_UE_activity_On_Event,
o QC_LTE_UE_activity_Off_Event,
o QC_LTE_UE_activity_Paging_Event,
o QC_LTE_UE_activity_Idle_Event
o Added new timers (all use units of milliseconds):
o QC_LTE_UE_activity_On_Duration,
o QC_LTE_UE_activity_Off_Duration,

© 2018 – Proprietary Information of Actix Ltd, an Amdocs company Page 8 of 18

o QC_LTE_UE_activity_Paging_Duration,
o QC_LTE_UE_activity_Idle_Duration

Rohde & Schwarz ROMES4 RSCMD support

• Added support for *_for_PCI[] array attributes for NB-IoT scanning receivers.

• Improved support for Carrier Aggregation:

o Added cell measurement, Radio Bearer and carrier-specific support for
LTE_SERVING_CELL_SCC_n messages.
o Added wideband CQI, RI, MCS and per-carrier support for SCC_n.
o Added the following attributes from PDSCH message:
o LTE_UE_PayloadRate_L1_DL
o LTE_UE_Carrier_Num_DL
o LTE_UE_PhyThroughput_DL
o LTE_UE_RB_Num_DL
o LTE_UE_ACK_Rate_DL
o LTE_UE_NACK_Rate_DL

Rohde & Schwarz QualiPoc MF support

• Resolved a problem where “Thrown an exception” was being displayed in the
Message Browser text.

• Support added for TSME LTE and WCDMA scanners collected in QualiPoc 18.1 files.

Event Detection changes

• VoLTE call origination detection (Voice_Call_Direction) has been improved. If
IP_Dir is not set, the direction is set to ‘unknown’.

• LTE Event Detach Duration (LTE EMM Detach) at UE switch-off is fully supported.

• If VoLTE SIP_Reason_Text in the SIP_BYE command contains “RTP_TIMEOUT”,

set attribute VoIP_Event_Layer_IsNormalBYE to be an abnormal bye.
o 0 = Abnormal BYE
o 1 = Normal BYE
o 2 = BYE should be ignored

General
• Support was added for 3GPP 15.3 release, including 5G-NR and LTE RRC layers.

• Support added for Band 66 carriers within RRC signaling:

o LTE_Uu_RRC_MobilityControlInfo_carrierFreq_dl_CarrierFreq

© 2018 – Proprietary Information of Actix Ltd, an Amdocs company Page 9 of 18

o LTE_Uu_RRC_MobilityControlInfo_carrierFreq_ul_CarrierFreq

o GSM 900 (default = 35Km)
o DCS1800/PCS1900 (default = 8Km)
o WCDMA (default = 35Km)
o LTE (default = 35Km)

Data Processing
• Improvements have been made to message() comparisons, which previously
required the message to be multiplied by 1. The following syntax is now
supported:
o Message() == [1,2,3]

crossed feeder detection) were not working for the Multi-tech voice template.

• Extended support of binned attributes up to 5 Carrier Components

(*_for_Carrier[]), in LTE, Data Service Analysis and Master templates:

o FTP DL
o HTTP DL
o WEB
o ABM

Platform Improvements

Device Offset
• A problem has been resolved where using the Device Offset feature when a
repository was attached caused Analyzer to crash.

Licensing
• The licensing mechanism has been updated this month to cater for additional
technology support. To use this Analyzer Update December 2018 (AU1812)
release, please ensure you contact Amdocs Customer Support to refresh your
license.

Map
• This release includes a major enhancement to on-the-fly map bin filtering. Map
legend checkboxes filter specific value ranges for the binned data view:

Simply enable/disable legend ranges to show/hide the bins related to those

ranges. This filtering is specific to the map bins only and does not create a
stream-level filter (that is, it will not filter the chart or table at the same time).
