• Technology improvements:
o Added further map support for 5G NR_Cell definitions in cellrefs, in the
map and common Site Data Node attributes.
o NB-IoT support added in Spotlight.
• Platform improvements:
o Updated licenses – all licenses will need to be re-activated to run AU1812.
Please contact Amdocs Support for further details.
o Extended the map to include binned range filtering
5G-NR support
• Support added for 3GPP 15.3 RRC layer.
• Support added for pre-defined list of attributes for labeling / coloring lines to 5G
NR_Cell icons in the map.
eMTC support
• Improvements in QC_LTE_UE_activity_state logic.
• Resolved a problem where UE was not being detected as being in CA-Active state,
and subsequently only the primary carrier data payload was used in throughput
calculations.
• Resolved a problem which prevented certain key attributes from being displayed
when Load Time Message Filtering feature was enabled.
• Resolved a problem where Layer 3 messages were not being decoded in certain
TEMS Pocket 20.1 files.
• Resolved a problem where LTE PHY Parameter fields were incorrectly populating
PCell attributes. The values now populate the SCell PCI correctly.
• Changed the mechanism for detecting NB-IoT content, allowing a fuller decode of
the NB-IoT NAS messages and event detection.
• Support added for TSME LTE and WCDMA scanners collected in QualiPoc 18.1 files.
• LTE Event Detach Duration (LTE EMM Detach) at UE switch-off is fully supported.
General
• Support was added for 3GPP 15.3 release, including 5G-NR and LTE RRC layers.
Cellrefs
• Added support for 5G NR_Cell icons to be colored by the NR_PCI field.
• Added support for labeling and coloring lines to 5G NR_Cell layers by a selection
of pre-defined common and 5G-specific attributes:
• Added sector resolution maximum thresholds into Preferences for the following:
o GSM 900 (default = 35Km)
o DCS1800/PCS1900 (default = 8Km)
o WCDMA (default = 35Km)
o LTE (default = 35Km)
Data Processing
• Improvements have been made to message() comparisons, which previously
required the message to be multiplied by 1. The following syntax is now
supported:
o Message() == [1,2,3]
Spotlight
• There is a new LTE NB Project Template, with KPI analysis and connection
drilldown capability:
• Summary KPIs:
• Connection Analysis:
• Coverage Analysis:
• Connection-based drilldown:
• Added support for NB-IoT in Spotlight with the “LTE NB” Project Template (and
Analyzer Pro repository template):
• Improved user feedback for batch loading additional files into existing projects.
• Resolved a problem where the Multi-tech voice or data templates could not be
used without entitlement to WiFi (included as standard in the LTE-Advanced-Pro
platform license).
• Resolved a problem where LTE cells outside the defined beamwidth (potential
crossed feeder detection) were not working for the Multi-tech voice template.
o FTP DL
o HTTP DL
o WEB
o ABM
o Streaming
Device Offset
• A problem has been resolved where using the Device Offset feature when a
repository was attached caused Analyzer to crash.
Licensing
• The licensing mechanism has been updated this month to cater for additional
technology support. To use this Analyzer Update December 2018 (AU1812)
release, please ensure you contact Amdocs Customer Support to refresh your
license.
Map
• This release includes a major enhancement to on-the-fly map bin filtering. Map
legend checkboxes filter specific value ranges for the binned data view:
