01/02/2018 Bevilex' modlist for Oblivion - Graphics at Oblivion Nexus - mods and community

This is a modlist and tutorial with installation order and instructions to make your game look better with great performance.
It is is for new and less new Oblivion players, who want to start modding their game or complete their list with some nice mods.

Oblivion has hundreds of excellent mods, this is not the perfect modlist for the graphics, just my modlist with my own selection of mods. There are many
other fantastic mods that I will not mention in this page.
In the rst part you can nd the essential tools to mod Oblivion, then you'll nd the main graphical mods that I use sorted by categories and installation
order.
At the end you'll nd instructions to make Oblivion Reloaded and ENB work together nicely. Because I have not released my ENB preset yet, you'll nd my
Oblivion Reloaded preset for Cinematic ENB - New Dimension - One of my favorite ENB available on Nexus. After that I selected a few other good mods in
case you want to change more than just the graphics, and also some INI tweaks that I made to my Oblivion.ini le.

A full video guide detailing the installation of this modlist is available if you're interested! Thank you outdated TV!

Bevilex Modlist Full Video Guide - part zero

Permissions:
I do not give permission to upload this guide in any other websites.
I made it for FREE, I won't accept people copying my work and making money from it.
If you like it and used it in your Let's Play videos for instance, I'll appreciate that you give me credit and add a link
to the description page.

Before starting:
Read everything. Every single word in my guide is important. It is not di cult at all but if you don't take the time to
read and apply everything something will go wrong. If you have a question do not hesitate to ask it on the forums
tab, but please make sure you have read the description and the FAQ rst, especially if you have a problem,
because most of the time the solution is written here.

What you need to start modding Oblivion:

 - I recommend the following hardware:

     - OS: Windows 7 or more
     - CPU: i5 2400 or more
     - RAM: 8GB. Should be ne with 6GB. The game will not use more than 3,6GB of RAM, but the more you have, the better it is (in case you have other
programs running in the background).
     - GPU: 2GB of VRAM. There is no 4K textures in this guide. 2K is the maximum resolution. Some mods have 1K and 2k versions to choose.
     - 30GB of free HDD space

 - A working Vanilla (without any mods) game. Preferably with ENGLISH language. Many mods are designed to work with the english version of the game.
You may get some issues (like muted NPCs, but there are some ways to x that though) if you are using a different language.
You can watch this great video by GamerPoets about the installation and settings of Oblivion.
Navigate to 2:02 in the video linked and follow the steps to see which version of the game you have. You should have version 1.2.0416 which is already
patched.

 - Delete the Oblivion.ini le located in  \My Games\Oblivion and launch the game to rebuild a new one.

 - Set the following options in the Launcher:

Adapter: Select your Graphics Card model
Resolution: Select the resolution you want to play with.
Antialiasing: None (best performance)
Mode: As you wish. I play with windowed mod, with Oblivion Reloaded (a mod we will install later), you can play fullscreen in windowed mode, and still Alt
Tab if you want.
Screen Effects: HDR (needed for ENB to work)
Distant Rendering: Check "Distant Landscape" ,"Distance Building"  and "Distant Trees"
Video Quality Presets: "Ultra High"

Install these essential tools listed below:

Wrye Bash
Several softwares exist to manage your mods. NMM is one of the most popular but currently doesn't work for all Oblivion mods. Wrye Bash is more
complete and work with almost all mods. I highly recommend that you use this mod manager to install all the following mods. If you use another mod
manager I will not be able to assist you.
Download it here
You can download and use the installer to guide you during the install, or install it manually.
For the "manual" installation, go in the FILES section and download the "Wrye Bash Standalone executable" le.
Extract it somewhere.
You should have a "Mopy" folder. Just copy it in your "Oblivion" folder (where the "Data" folder is). In my case, this is here:
\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion   , because I am using the Steam version of the game.
To launch Wrye Bash, go in that "Mopy" folder and double click on the Wrye Bash application. You can create a shortcut of the app to access it faster.
Have a look here if you want a very good guide on how to use Wrye Bash. Have a look at the Basics and Installers Intro (look at the images or download
the .pdf le).

Installing a mod with Wrye Bash:

- Download it manually (never use the "download with manager option"), drag and drop the archive (no need to extract it) in the Installers tab or in the Bash
Installers folder automaticaly created by Wrye Bash.
- You should now see it in the Installers tab of WB. Right Click on it and choose Install. If the mod has an .esp le, you should see it the Mods tab now.
Check it to activate it. Done.
You can install all the graphical mods with it. Some OBSE plugins and other mods require a manual installation, I'll tell you when this is the case.

You can also watch this video made by ponurymazepa.

OBMM
OBMM is another mod manager for Oblivion. It is needed to easily install Darni ed UI, which is in .omod format. Download and use the full installer. We will
use it later.

OBSE
OBSE will be needed for many mods to work. You must install it manually.
If you have the Steam version like me, then Copy obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, obse_steam_loader.dll  and obse_loader.exe to your Oblivion
directory. On Steam, just start the game in the usual way, and OBSE will automaticaly be loaded.
Please check that OBSE is working correctly. For that, make a new save and quit the game. Go to  Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves and verify if you
have and .obse le alongside to the .ess le.
The OBSE's main page advises to enable the Steam community Overlay, however, some mods we will install later need the Overlay to be disabled.
To turn it off, rightclick on "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in the librarie and click "Properties" and untick "Enable Steam Overlay".
If you own a GOG version of the game, you need to download and install manually the OBSE 0021 Loader - GOG le on the same page. To launch the game
with this version, double-click on the le "obse_loader".

BOSS
BOSS is a must-have tool to sort your load order, very useful when the list of your plugins is increasing. Use it frequently when you add mods which include
.esp les to avoid potential incompatibility problems.

TES4Edit
TES4Edit is very useful tool to clean your mods, check for con icts, and many other things. It is not needed in this guide but you should install it too in
case one day you need it.

Some good practices

- You should install all your mods (except for some OBSE plugins and other exceptions that I will mention) with Wrye Bash, so if you encounter a problem
somewhere (normally you should not :p), you can still uninstall a mod safely without breaking your game. WB keeps track to all the les installed with it.

- After installing each mods, check the .esp in the Mods tab if there is one.
Place the .esp before your Bashed Patch. You can do that manually (select the .esp and "drag and drop" it lower or higher to change its load order) or by
using BOSS (recommended). And then rebuild your bashed patch. You should rebuild it each time you are installing a new mod with an .esp le. For that,
right-click on the Bashed Patch (it should be at the end of your load order in the Mods tab), select "Rebuild Patch (CBash *BETA*)..." and then "Build Patch"
on the new window. The Bashed Patch will deactivate/uncheck some mods, they will have a . or + symbol next to them and a different color, do not
reactivate them, they are merged in the Bached Patch.

To summarize, each time you add a new mod, you have to:
 * Install it in the Installers tab
 * Check the .esp in the Mods tab
 * Run BOSS to sort your load order
 * Rebuild your Bashed patch (do not reactivate the .esp which have been deactivated by the Bashed Patch)

- Read every mods' description and Readme, watch screenshots provided by modders and users so you know what you are going to install.

- If you want to install all the mods listed here then it is recommended to start with a clean install of your game, without mods, and with a new game.
For the best result you should install the mods in the same order as they are listed here. There will be some "con icts" (textures overwriting other textures,
for instance), but this is normal and Wrye Bash handles that very well.

- Do not install everything at one time but test regularly each mods you are adding. To quickly test in-game a mod after starting a new game, you can type
in the console "coc weye" to teleport your character outside of the prison, in Weye. And type "tmm 1" to toggle on all map markers in your map so you can
easily fast travel to all locations you want and verify if one mod is working correctly or if you like it or not.

- Removing/replacing textures and meshes is safe for your save game but if you uninstall mods with an .esp le it may harm your save le. That's why you
should only start your playthrough when you are done installing/testing the mods you want to use.

- Some mods allow you to choose between a 1k and a 2k resolution. High-end computers can take the 2k resolution. Low-end computers should take the
1k version.

01/02/2018 Bevilex' modlist for Oblivion - Graphics at Oblivion Nexus - mods and community

Spoiler:   Show

Everything you need to make your game rock stable is included in this chapter. It contains my selection of stability mods and tweaks, tested on a
heavily modded game.

 Oblivion Stutter Remover

OSR is a must to make your game more stable. You can install it with Wrye Bash: download manually OSR 4-1-37 (be careful to take the RIGHT version,
it's the last main le), then drag and drop the archive in the Installers tab of Wrye Bash. Right Click on it, and click on Install. WB should alert you that a
.dll le will be added to your game, select yes/ok.
OSR has a .ini le that is con gurable (in \Oblivion\Data\OBSE\Plugins). Replace sr_Oblivion_Stutter_Remover with my preset available for download
here in the le section of this page.
I just tweaked some of the heap settings to make the game more stable when modded. The FPS is also capped at 45 to avoid possible bugs when fps
is too high and to make fps drops less noticeable. Test if your game is working correctly with OSR.
If at this point you crash on loading a save then change iHeapSize to 512 in the .ini le and test.
If you still crash then change bReplaceHeap to 0.

 MoreHeap
Download it here. Just copy it to your root game folder (where you installed your Mopy folder and OBSE). When starting the game a MoreHeap le
should be created in the same folder. Change the default values in it to 768 (or 512 if you have set iHeapSize to 512 in OSR.ini)

 Engine Bug xes

Here. This is an OBSE plugin like OSR. It does what its name says. You can simply install it manually by pasting the les you extracted
here: \Oblivion\Data\OBSE\Plugins (in the same location of OSR)

 4GB RAM Patcher

4GB Patch. Run the program on your Oblivion and OblivionLauncher applications located in your root folder. This mod is really important because it
allows the game to use more RAM, reducing the probability to have a crash related to the limit in memory usage of 32bit applications.

 Other useful OBSE plugins. A manual install is recommended. Download the latest version of these mods, extract and put them in your Plugins folder
(\Oblivion\Data\OBSE\Plugins) :
- Blockhead (Required for the mod Oblivion Character Overhaul)
- MenuQue (Required for some other mods to work)
- FastExit
- Pluggy (Download and install Pluggy v132)
- Elys Universal Silent Voice

 Uno cial Patches

Now let's install the uno cial patches. Download them manually here (never use the NMM download):
Uno cial Oblivion Patch
Uno cial Shivering Isles Patch  (if you have SI expansion)
Uno cial Oblivion DLC Patches (if you have the other DLCs)
Drag and drop them to the "Installers" tab of Wrye Bash. You can see in the "Esp/m Filter tab" that these mods have .esp les. Check them all (they
should be automaticaly checked by WB), unless you don't have some DLCs, in this case uncheck what you don't have.
Install them and activate the .esp les in the Mods tab.
These .esp les have to be loaded after the base DLCxxxx.esp les so that they can work correctly, and before the Bashed Patch. You can use BOSS to
do that automaticaly.

 Kuertee Clean Up
Install with Wrye Bash.
Open kuerteeCleanUp.ini located at \Oblivion\Data\Ini  and change the rst line to the following:
set kCUQuest.cleanActors to 0
it will avoid potential issues with actors tagged as Quest Items..

 CTD and Memory patch ENBOOST

This patch can improve stability a lot if you have some extra RAM. It can make a huge difference on a heavily modded game. Unfortunately it is not
compatible with ENB graphics.
Do not install it if you plan to use an ENB. If you don't want to use an ENB, then you should really install it. A manual installation is required.

 NVAC - New Vegas Anti Crash

Yes, you can use this mod for Oblivion.
Simply copy nvac.dll into your OBSE folder.  (\Oblivion\Data\OBSE\Plugins)

Spoiler:   Show

 QTP3 R
This is a texture pack that we will use as a base and overwrite with other retextures/replacers.
Install it with WB, and download here the "QTP UOP Compatibility Patch" in the optional les.
You should have the following install order in your Installer tab:
Uno cial Oblivion Patch
Uno cial Shivering Isles Patch
Uno cial Oblivion DLC Patches
QTP3 Redimized 1.0 Patched
QTP3 UOP3350 Compatibility Patch
If your packages are sorted by "Install order", the lowest package overwrites those above in case they have con icting les. The install order is
important. You can see the con icting les in the "Con icts" tab in the right part of the Installers tab.

 Landscape retexture
Install the SI version too. Choose the 1K or the 2K version. I recommend the 1K version for better performance.

 Improved doors and ora

Install the main les.

 Improved trees and ora

 Improved trees and ora 2

Install only the two main les ("Improved Tree and Flora 2" and "ITF2Update")

 Alive Waters Updated

First install the assets here. We do not need the .esp les. Uncheck the 3 boxes in the "Esp/m lter" tab of Wrye Bash. Install the mod.
Then install the no sh version only of Alive Waters Updated. "Alive Waters No Fish" les", leave the esp checked in the Esp/m lter.
Why using the "no sh version" you may ask me? Because it's better for performance. Fishes are like creatures, having too much of them will drain your
fps.

 Grass Overhaul
Don't install this mod if you decide to install Lush and Gaudy Floriana Gloria linked just below.

Trees:
Now choose between Arboretum, Tree Overhaul or Lush and Gaudy Floriana Gloria. Install just one of them.
The rst one, Arboretum makes a few changes to the trees, keep the Vanilla style and retextures some leaves.
The last one, LG makes A LOT of changes to the trees, grasses and landscape. It will overwrite Grass Overhaul and some of the landscape textures.
Check the images on the mod's page to see if you like the new look. Some textures are very "special" (see the Paradise image). Due to the heavy
change of the trees and shrubs, trees may look out of place or clip with walls if you install a lot of mods on top of this list (like UL, Better Cities,
villages).
If you choose LGFG, it is recommended that you uninstall Grass Overhaul? LGFG has its own grass.
 Arboretum
*OR*
 Tree Overhaul
*OR*
 Lush and Gaudy Floriana Gloria
If you want a more fantasy look (again check the images to see if it is something for you), install this mod instead of Tree Overhaul or Arboretum.
Uninstall Oblivion Grass Overhaul because both mods con ict.
Install the rst main le for the HiRes version and the last main le with cleaned esp (Lush and Gaudy Floriana Gloria 1_3 and Lush and Gaudy Floriana
Gloria Cleaned and Optimized Patch v1_3 Full Pack).
Lush and Gaudy Floriana Gloria Cleaned and Optimized Patch cannot be installed directly with WB. You need to extract it and take the UltraRes/Data
folder and repackage it to a new archive. Drag the new archive into WB and install it. Watch this video to see how to do it.

(Optional) The imperial Ecology Vanilla Flavour (only if you want an alternative to Grass Overhaul or Lush and Gaudy's grasses. Install on top of them)

 Far Cry grass

A beautiful grass from Elbethien. It will overwrite some of the previously installed grasses.
Install  "Replacer Version update 2" and the update "Texture with better transition".
If you want a darker version, install Darker Replacer Version instead of the two previous les.

Barks:
 Tree Bark HD Reduced
And then install "ITFBark2012" from Improved Trees and Flora 2.

 Improved fruits and vegetables and Meats

 Cypress knee
You need to create an account to download this mod. Use Google traduction if like me you don't understand russian.
Having di culties to register? Check Ponurymazepa's video!

 Harvest Flora

SI Flora:
 Shivering Isles Floriana Gloria
Download and install the le named " Shivering Isles Floriana Gloria V1_2"

*OR* (if you prefer something less colorfull)

 Shivering Isles Floriana Requiem

Download and install the le named " Shivering Isles oriana Requiem In Moderation"

(Optional) Blackwood Jungle
If you want a junglized Blackwood Forest, and if you do not Lush and Gaudy Floriana Gloria, then install this mod.

Do not forget to Darnify the books.
To DarNify your books, Rebuild the Bashed Patch and select "Tweak Assorted->DarNify Books"

 Dynamic Map
Install with Wrye Bash. Install the Core (check 00 Core) and choose one model of map by checking one the "01" box. I am using the Elven map style.

 Elven Map for Shivering Isles

 Map Marker Overhaul

Same installation as Dynamic Map. Check the "00 Core" box + one of the several "01" box and install, the "02" box if you have SI, and optionally "03" for
some realism settings.
This mod does not only replace the map markers, but does many other interesting things too. Read the description ^^

For the best graphics result you can use an ENB and OR preset.
A very good ENB preset available at Nexus is Cinematic ENB for Oblivion - New Dimension. You're free to use another one, of course.
You can watch ponurymazepa's video for detailed instructions about installing these two mods.

To use the ENB, read the instruction on the mod's page.

To make it work with Oblivion Reloaded, you must:

- Make sure that the Steam overlay is disabled if you play on Steam.

- Turn off speedhack in the enbseries.ini le: REPORT BUG

https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/47591/?tab=description 10/17
01/02/2018 Bevilex' modlist for Oblivion - Graphics at Oblivion Nexus - mods and community

- Set  bUseWaterDisplacements=0 on your oblivion.ini le (in My Games\Oblivion) if you have an Nvidia card.

[GAME]
SpeedHack=false

- If you nd Cinematic ENB too bright, you can reduce the brightness setting (I personally changed it to 1.0).

[COLORCORRECTION]
Brightness=1.0

Now install Oblivion Reloaded. OR is now hosted on its new website. You need to create an account here, then go to the download section.
For now, version 6.2 is recommended. Version 6.4 just came out and I am currently testing it.
You can install it with Wrye Bash.
Read carefully the description, the manual, and the sticky posts.

Here are the features that I am using with Cinematic ENB. HDR and ShaderModel3 must be set to 0 ot use OR with an ENB.
IMPORTANT: EquipementMode must be set to 0 or you'll experience crashes.
Open the oblivionreloaded.ini le located in the OBSE folder (\Oblivion\Data\OBSE\Plugins), and make the following changes:
Please note that these settings have been tested with v6.2.

[Main]
FoV                      = 75.0
WaterRe ectionMapSize   = 1024
WaterManagement          = 1
AnisotropicFilter        = 8
FarPlaneDistance         = 283840.0
ScreenshotPath           = \Screenshots
ScreenshotType           = 1
ScreenshotKey            = 87
FPSOverlay               = 0
ShaderModel3           = 0  The value to use depends on your hardware. I have a Nvidia gtx980ti and I have to set it to 0
NVIDIAPatch               =0 Nvidia users should put 0 here. Crashes and freezes have been reported on W10 for Nvidia users.
RendererBoost   =0   I didn't see any improvement in my game. The author says it could decrease the stability, so I prefer to set it to 0.
CustomEffects          = 0
FrameRate                = 1
SaveSettings             = 1
MountedCombat       = 1
CameraMode             = 0
EquipmentMode        = 0 Crashes reported by users when set to 1.
SleepingMode            = 0
GrassMode                 = 0 Strangely it causes stutters in my game. So I had to set it to 0.

[Shaders]
EnableWater                 = 1
EnableGrass                  = 0 Seems not to be compatible with non-Vanilla grasses. Sometimes grass randomly changes height.
EnablePrecipitations     = 0         I do not use it with ENB and All NAtural.
EnableHDR                     = 0 Must be disabled to use OR with ENB.
EnablePOM                     = 0 Gives weird result with some textures/meshes.
EnableSkin                     = 1
EnableTerrain                = 1
EnableBlood                   = 0
EnableShadows              = 1
EnableNightEye             = 0

[Effects]
EnableUnderwater         = 1
EnableWaterLens          = 1
EnableGodRays            = 1               I just tweaked saturation and rays visibilty. It works well ENB godrays.
EnableDepthOfField       = 0     I use ENB's DoF.
EnableAmbientOcclusion   = 1        My setting adds OR's ambient Occlusion for the interiors.
EnableColoring           = 1                You can use my coloring preset with Cinematic ENB. It adds stronger colors, a slight color lter, and adjust contrast.
EnableCinema             = 0
EnableBloom              = 0
EnableSnowAccumulation   = 0
EnableBloodLens          = 0
EnableMotionBlur         = 1
EnableLowHF              = 0
EnableWetWorld           = 0
EnableSharpening         = 0
EnableSMAA               = 0

My Godrays, Ambient Occlusion, Coloring, Motion Blur and terrrain presets for this ENB are available for download. Replace your les with my les. You
can test them in-game via the UI of Oblivion Reloaded.

PLEASE READ:

  -  Oblivion Reloaded currently adds new animations to the NPCs and the character. If you want to get rid of these "ninja-style" ipping animations, then
do the following:
go to Meshes\Characters\_male\ and delete every .kf les with OR in their name.
Disable EquipmentMode as written above.

 -  If you are using Lush and Gaudy Floriana Gloria and Cinemtaic ENB new Dimension, and if you nd that the Jerall Mountains in the North are too
bright when you are close to them (in Bruma for instance), use the LG - ENB far terrain patch by AverageModding. Install it after of Lush and Gaudy.

 -  For People who do NOT use ENB but only Oblivion Reloaded (don't forget to install ENboost), you can have a look at these OBGE presets:

My personal in-game video settings:

Brightness: 50%
Texture Size: Large
Tree Fade: 100%
Actor Fade: 76%
*Actor Item and Object Fade are managed by the Framerate Mode of Oblivion Reloaded if you have it activated. No need to change them in this case,
they are automaticaly adjusted*
Item Fade: 60%
Object Fade: 60%
Grass Distance: 100%
View Distance: 100%
Distant Land: On
Distant Buildings: On
Distant Trees: On
Int. Shadows: 5
Ext. Shadows: 5
Self Shadows: Off
Shadows on Grass: Off
Tree Canopy Shadows: On
Shadow Filtering: High
Specular Dist: 50%
HDR Lightning: On
Bloom Lightning: Off
Water Detail: High
Water Re ections: On
Water Ripples: Off
Windows Re ections: On
Blood Decals: High
Anti-aliasing: Off
I play on a heavily modded game that's why all parameters are not set to the max. You can set Fade and Shadows settings to the maximum if you
want.

Your Oblivion.ini le is located here:  \ %username%\Documents\My Games\Oblivion,

I've changed:
fLightLOD2=6000.0000
fLightLOD1=4000.0000

To see light sources further away. Almost no impact on performance on a modern computer and particularly nice and useful when nights are darker.

fGrassStartFadeDistance=11000.0
fGrassEndDistance=12000.0

iMinGrassSize=5

It makes grass more dense and grass display distance is increased. Negligible impact on performance on a modern computer.

bUseWaterRe ectionsMisc=0
bUseWaterRe ectionsStatics=0
bUseWaterRe ectionsTrees=1
bUseWaterRe ectionsActors=0
bUseWaterRe ections=1

Remove re ections for statics, misc and actors. This can lead to a fps increase (up to +10fps) in some area (IC waterfront, Market District), but you get
less detailed re ections. You still have trees and LOD re ections. I nd these settings a good compromise between visuals and performance.

bActorSelfShadowing=0
Activating it causes weird eyes on NPC in my game. So keep it to 0 like in the in-game options.

bShadowsOnGrass=0
Create sometimes weird visuals when used with an ENB. I keep it to 0 like in the in-game otions.

When you are done making changes to your Oblivion.ini le and in-game settings, I suggest you to put your Oblivion.ini le in "Read Only" mode, so no
unwanted changes will be made to the le by the game or by another mod.

01/02/2018 Bevilex' modlist for Oblivion - Graphics at Oblivion Nexus - mods and community

Spoiler:   Show

That's it! My modlist for the graphics ends here! You have now a better looking Oblivion and more importantly, you should now be able to use Wrye
Bash by yourself to install any other mods that you may want to add.
Below you can nd a short list of suggestions if you want to modify more than just the graphics, and some words about the compatibility of this
modlist with other mods.

About the compatibility of this modlist.

Most of the mods listed above are retextures and replacers, so they should be compatible with many mods. However you must know:
- If you install a new texture/replacer on top, some of the mods of this list may be overwriten, check the con icts tab of Wrye Bash to see exactly which
les will be overwriten.
- Do not install another weather mod because you already installed all Natural (seems logical), unless you know exactly what you are doing.
- Same for cosmetic and race mods. (Cobl Races and RBP will not work correctly with OCO, adding new races should be ne though).
- Uniques landscapes, Better cities, the HESU mod compilation, settlements and new villages are compatible, but I do not recommend using Lush and
Gaudy Floriana Gloria with them, some trees may be out of place or clip with the walls (especially with Better Cities). Better to choose Tree Overhaul or
Arboretum. If you are using Better Cities, I also recommend not installing Oblivion Grass Overhaul, for the same reason.
- Quest mods are compatible.
- Gameplay mods and overhauls like MOO, OOO, MMM, WAC, FCOM are compatible too.

Suggestions:

-Overhaul-
 Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul
Enhance many aspects of the game. Easy to install with Wrye Bash and highly customizable. Updated regularly.
I use MOO to control the ambient light in dungeons. The setting I use is:
set MOO.ini_dungeon_light to 2
This setting makes the caves and dungeons really DARK (and so torches more useful). Use a different value if you don't like that.

-Combat Mod-
 Vanilla Combat Enhanced
A collection of tweaks to enhance combat. Easy to install and customize. If you use this mod with Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul, then open
VanillaCombatEnhanced.ini located in ....\Oblivion\Data\Ini and change:

;Weapon Damage
   setgs fDamageWeaponMult 1.0 ;Default 1.0 Vanilla 0.5

   setgs fCreatureCalcDamage 2.0 ;Default 2.0 Vanilla 1.0

To:

;Weapon Damage
  ;setgs fDamageWeaponMult 1.0 ;Default 1.0 Vanilla 0.5

  ;setgs fCreatureCalcDamage 2.0 ;Default 2.0 Vanilla 1.0

(A " ; " has been added in the beginning of the lines to disable the damage multipliers, which is necessary because MOO already doubles all damages).

-Quest mods-
 Rathunas   A new village with fully voiced NPCs and new quests.
 The Lost Spires Top quality quest mod and fully voiced too.

-Player House-
 Gilgaliad An amazing player home for your wizard (Gilgaliad and Rathunas are not compatible, choose one).

-Dungeon overhaul-
 Better Dungeons
Install the main les "Better Dungeons" (for the updated .esp) and "Better Dungeons non-BSA" (which contains the textures and meshes).
 Snus Dungeons (optimized version)
Download the .esp here
Install the ressources and SnusDungeons.esp
If you decide to use it with Better Dungeons, install SnusDungeons - BD patch.esp too.
For more infos about this mod visit this website:
http://www.oblivion.lima-city.de/ les/plugins.html

-Magic mods-
 Midas Magic Spells (requires a patch to work with Rathunas or Gilgaliad)
 Less annoying Magic experience

-Landscape Overhaul-
 Unique Landscapes Compilation
 The HESU Mod Collection
** These mods may decrease your framerate in certain area and make your game more susceptible to crash due to the increase of memory usage
when combined with ENB. I advise not to install all of them, just a few.
** It's preferable that you install separately the unique landscapes (standalone versions), they are all linked in the beginning of the page.
** You need to install some compatibility patches if you want to use the Lost Spires with the Unique Landscapes. You can nd them here.

-New Villages-
 Settlements of Cyrodiil

-Want a more detailed LOD?-

 RAEVWD   **  if you install the full package, your framerate will decrease. Oblivion is not optimized to render distant meshes, I do not advise to install
the full package if you plan to add many other mods
 TES4LODgen
 Landscape LOD generator
** Landscape LOD generator and TES4LODgen are programs that rebuild your LOD based on your load order. If you install some Unique Landscapes or
HESU mods you need to run them to have a more accurate distant view. TES4LODgen can have an impact on your fps because it adds new distant
object depending on your load order. REPORT BUG

-Sound Overhaul-
 GOSH - Gecko's Oblivion Sound Overhaul
If you use a weather mod like All Natural, install only GOSH.esp. Do not install GOSH Region Ambiance.esp
