REPUBLIC OF PERU

Peru or Republic of Peru became independent on July 28th, 1821. Its name in

the Quechua language is Piruw.

Peru is located in Western South America. Its capital is Lima and its main

cities are: Cuzco, Callao, Arequipa, Trujillo and Chiclayo.

Peru is a country with a great Inca tradition that continues to this day since

most of its inhabitants are native descendants.

The total population of Peru is 32` 164 184. About 45% of the inhabitants of

Peru are descendants of natives. Around 37% are mestizos and only 15% are

immigrants.

The flag is national symbol of Peru, designed by Jose de San Martin. The

Peruvian state includes the national emblem on the flag. While civilians use

the flag in a simple way.

Among the most famous people in Peru, are Gian Marco, Eva Ayllon, Carlos

Alcantara, Mario Vargas Llosa and others.

th, 1936.He is 83 years old.
Mario Vargas Llosa is a Peruvian writer who also got the Spanish nationality
since 1993.
Considered one of the most important contemporary novelists and essayists.
In addition, in 2010 he won the Literature Nobel prize.
His city of origin is Arequipa. His favorite color is purple. He loves listening
to classical music.

goes running from 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m.

He usually has dinner at 8:00 p.m , then he listens to music and he often writes

midnight.
