Pertimbangkan juga, bagaimana aturan adalah inti dari

tujuan kegiatan itu seharusnya adalah membuat kita
bahagia.Pertimbangkan juga, bagaimana aturan adalah inti

Aturan catur, katakanlah, dapat memicu kemarahan jika saya
hampir kalah.
Demikian pula, sebutkan pada saya penggemar sepak bola
yang belum pernah mengamuk melawan aturan offside.
Tetapi catur atau sepak bola tanpa aturan tidak tidak akan
menjadi catur atau sepak bola - mereka sepenuhnya akan
menjadi aktivitas tanpa bentuk dan tidak berarti.
Banyak norma kehidupan sehari-hari yang melakukan fungsi
yang persis sama dengan aturan permainan - memberi tahu kita
"gerakan" apa yang bisa kita lakukan, dan tidak bisa kita
lakukan.
Kebiasaan mengucapkan "tolong" dan "terima kasih" yang
tampaknya sangat menjengkelkan bagi anak-anak - adalah
bagian dari apa yang membuat interaksi sosial kita berjalan
dengan lancar.
Dan peraturan tentang mengemudi di kiri atau kanan, berhenti
di lampu merah, antri, tidak membuang sampah sembarangan,
masuk dalam kategori yang sama.
Aturan itu adalah blok bangunan masyarakat yang harmonis.
Tentu saja, telah lama ada keinginan di antara beberapa
orang untuk kehidupan masyarakat yang kurang formal,
masyarakat tanpa pemerintah, dunia di mana kebebasan
individu lebih diutamakan: anarki.
Tanpa beberapa aturan - dan kecenderungan masyarakat
untuk mematuhinya - masyarakat akan meluncur dengan cepat
ke dalam kekacauan.
