Notice on Online Examination process for final year students of


End Semester (Even) Examinations 2020-21
Appropriate authority of the University has decided to hold end semester examinations for all
final year students of Even Semester 2020-21 in online mode in view of Covid-19 pandemic
situation. The examinations would be in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) mode. There would
be 30 questions of 1 mark and 20 questions of 2 marks with graded difficulty spread over
modules of the syllabus. Total time would be 90 minutes.
Eligible students of regular and back paper candidates for whom admit card would be issued
after successful completion of form fill-up process, would be able to appear in the online
examinations from their home/ suitable place, with proper ambience of examination through
the link available in the login. There should not be presence of additional personnel and other
devices for appearing the examinations. However, they can keep blank pages and pen/pencil
for rough work/calculation. There would be technical support during the examinations.
If any student is unable to appear in the online examinations due to device or connectivity
issues etc, they are advised to get support from their respective colleges well in advance. They
have to appear preferably from Laptop/Desktop with enabled webcam with adequate internet
speed. Disconnection/Reconnection, if any would be taken care by the software and already
answered questions would remain saved in the cloud system. Appropriate technical measures
are taken to prevent malpractice during examinations.
Schedule for examination is available in the examination portal/admit card. The process of the
online examinations is already familiar to the students as they have already appeared in the
odd semester examinations 2020-21. However to become familiar with the system again,
students who are willing, may appear in a mock examination session to be conducted
on 10.07.2021 during 11.00 am to 01.00 pm for all eligible students.
