MY LIFE AS A GRADE 10 LEARNER IN

AGUSAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

I must say that i envisioned my grade 10 life in a different way than what it turned out
to be but I am very thankful that although it wasn’t what I want it to be, I was still able to enjoy
and learned so much from my experience. I spent so much of my Grade 10 life studying at
home without my friends to talk to or share my homework struggles with but the experience
turn out to be an opportunity to be closer to my family and to involve my parents in my studies.
Learning from modules was a huge challenge to me but I realized as I was actually able to invest
so much of my time reading and understanding different articles compared to the time when
studying was still face to face. I realized the value of teachers who always do their best to make
us understanding the lesson. I realized the importance of balancing my time reading and
answering modules from one subject to another .I also realized the value of learning and
continuing education despite of the current situation that we are in(pandemic).I was able to
spend more time and effort to finish and make equality outputs for my different subject. More
people was able to help me to make outputs with quality and to challenge my creativity in
doing all of the activities and PTs that we were told to submit. In fact learning had been so
much fun and wonderful for me. My life as a Grade 10 students is all about juggling my
responsibilities at home (take care of my younger siblings and doing some household chore)
and answering and studying my modules to beat the deadline. I was able to also get a few help
from wonderful people whom I never forget .At first when I heard I will be spending my whole
Grade 10 life at home I thought it would be better not to study at all but it turns out as an
opportunity for me to grow and be more responsible not just as a student but also as a family
member as well. I thank the teacher who are very generous with their deadlines and who spend
so much of their time crafting modules and printing learning materials to supplement our
learning .I can say my life as a Grade 10 student has been one of the most memorable year I
have in ANHS.I might not physically see all of my classmates ,friends and teacher but I know we
all struggles and maybe the same realizations that will make us better and closer to our dreams.
