1 ANNOUNCEMENT

1.1 EMBARK ANNOUNCEMENT

Good (morning, afternoon, evening) ladies and gentlemen welcome at your flight

1.5 SAFETY DEMONSTRATION

An Emergency Equipment demonstration is necessary before each take off but it is mandatory
when the flight route goes away 50 miles from the coast or the takeoff or destination airport is
near the sea.

When the flight attendants do the safety demonstration, have to locate themselves in a way
that all passengers can observe the demonstration.
Ladies and Gentleman, may I have your attention please.

In accordance to Venezuelan Civil Aeronautical Regulations, we will demonstrate you the use
of the emergency equipment.

Seat Belts:

1. Each seat is provided with a safety belt, located on both side of it.

2. To fasten it insert the metallic par into the buckle.

3. To adjust, pull the strap as shown.

4. Please make sure that your seat belt is fastened in this very moment.

5. To open it, lift the buckle and pull open.

Oxygen Masks:

1. The masks are located in special compartments.

2. In the event of a cabin decompression, the oxygen masks will appear automatically.

3. Pull the masks toward to you to make the oxygen flow.

4. Place the mask over your nose and mouth, adjust it with the rubber band and breathe
normally.

5. If you are travelling with a small child, place the masks on yourself first, and then assist the
child.

Chalecos Salvavidas:

1. You will find your life vests under your seats.

2. To open it, pull the strap and take it out of the bag, slide the life vest over your head, the
front side is clearly marked.

3. Fasten the straps at front, then pull to adjust to your waist.

4. To inflate, pull downward the two red tabs.

5. It can also be orally inflated by blowing through the two red tubes.

6. Remember: The life vest must not be inflated inside the aircraft.

Life Rafts:

1. This aircraft is equipped with (Number of Rafts) life rafts located in special compartments
along the cabin.

Emergency Exits:

1. This aircraft is equipped with (Number of Exits) emergency exits clearly marked.

Smoking Ban:

1. We inform to all our passengers that smoking is prohibited during the flight and the use of
cell phones including airplane mode and other electronic devices as well. Our lavatories
are equipped with smoke detectors
the person who interferes with its proper functioning, with the intention to smoke will be
punished for violating flight safety as established by the Venezuelan Aeronautical Law,
Article 130.

1.6 NO SMOKING REMINDER (DURING THE FLIGHT)

In accordance with Venezuelan Aviation Regulations and company policy it is prohibited to


smoke during the flight. The electronic devices must be off during the takeoff and landing,
including airplane mode. Enjoy your flight.

1.7 SEAT BELT REMINDER, RAV 121, 121.254 SECTIONS.

We would like to remind to all our passengers that you should keep your seat belt fastened while
seated, even if the seat belt sign is off. Thank you for your attention.

1.8 APPROCHING TO THE AIRPORT

1.13 IN BOARD SERVICE

Ladies and gentleman. In a few minutes we are going to serve you a snack, please take out
your dining tables located inside the armrest or in front of you. To make more pleasant your flight

1.14 IN BOARD SERVICE INTERRUPTED BY BAD WEATHER

Ladies and gentleman your attention please. Due to bad weather conditions in route, we

1.15 DEPARTURE DELAY (LEAVING PASSENGERS ON BOARD)

Ladies and gentleman. On behalf of the Pilot on Command we regret to inform you that, due
a last minute inconvenience, we have to delay our departure from this airport, we are in contact

1.16 DEPARTURE DELAY (DISEMBARKING PASSENGERS)

Ladies and Gentleman. The Pilot on Command ordered that, due to a technical inconvenience
we have to delay our departure from this airport, so we request to all our passengers please
disembark the aircraft and continue to the transit area where you will be assisted by our ground
staff. Thank you for you attention.

1.17 FUEL SUPPLY (WITH PASSENGERS ON BOARD)

Ladies and gentleman at this moment the aircraft is being refueled. We remind you to remain
seated with your seat belts unfastened, the use of cellular phones, laptops and other electronic
devices that may generate static charges or sparks like the flash of a camera. Also the use of
lavatories is restricted. We also would like to inform you that in the event of an aircraft
evacuation, during this procedure you will exit the aircraft through the main door and you must

1.18 PASSENGER CABIN DISINSECTION

Ladies and gentleman may I have your attention please, because of recommendations from
the World Health Organization, and national and international air regulations, we are about to
start the disinsection process of the aircraft, such process consist in spraying our aircraft with a
totally harmless product, certified for such use, it’s required that you remain seated. For more
