Prayerful greetings from Ryshivana, Mangalore.

Thank you very much for choosing Ryshivana for the Eight month renewal course in
Spirituality for the year 2021 - 2022. I am sure you are all set for participating in this spiritual
programme. The course begins on the 1st of August and therefore you are requested to
be here on before evening. If there is any change with regard to your arrival, kindly inform
me either through the email or over my cell-phone. My contact details are given below. We
look forward to a vibrant batch this time and so I hope we will have a lot to achieve being
together.

The eight months course that you are looking forward is a period of grace. Thus may I
request you to prepare for this course spiritually. It should be noted that this course is not a
holiday programme but a time for experiencing the love of God, the only reason why we
have become religious. Your reason “why you want to join this course” spells out this motive
clearly. So both you and this institute have a single purpose: to grow in closer intimacy with
the Lord. I really admire your generosity and willingness to participate in this course and we
are sure the Lord will certainly be at your side to bring this noble desire to fulfillment.

What to Bring: When you come here please bring the following items along with your other
personal requirements: a copy of the Bible (preferably NRSV), the Prayer of the Church; and
two each counterpanes, bed sheets and pillow covers. Since we are enjoying the tropical
climate no warm clothes are required (Sometimes it can be windy, so please bring a shawl
and a pull over). However, you may bring a couple of Salvars if you are using them in your
congregation. [Please note that you will have around seven days of Christmas holidays]

How to Arrive: Ryshivana is about 11 kms from city bus stand and railway station and
around 8 kms from city limits of Mangalore (Pumpwell circle). It is accessible by road with
regular buses 44B, 44M and 44R. One can also board any bus to Derlakatte from the city
centre or from Pumpwell circle alight at Kuthar and come to the Institute by auto paying Rs.
40/-. Prepaid Autos and Taxis are available from Railway station (Central or Junction) and
