    Proposal:
    More nuclear power stations in
    Indonesia should be built to meet
    the world’s growing energy
    requirement.
    Pros
    • Nuclear Power Station don’t produce waste air that
    pollutes the environment like CO2.
    • Nuclear Power Station much less than coal and oil
    generators
    • Nuclear Power Station does not really require a large
    area for its use. In contrast to other generators, such as
    the Wind Power Plant (wind) or PLTA which requires a
    large catchment area.
    Cons
    • landfills are quite expensive so they must require special care for the
    environment of radioactive waste. So that it cannot pollute the
    environment.
    • Unused nuclear power plants cannot just be abandoned. The
    decomissioning process will be time consuming and costly to prevent
    exposure of the surround
    • Nuclear accidents can scatter radioactive particles over a wide
    environment. This radiation can damage body cells which can lead to
    disease or death. Illness can occur for a long time after radiation events.
