Shaani

Construction of community
In this film Shaani, the people are very simple. They lived in a small village in Pakistan. Their
community is very small but civilized. The main threat to their village was the only person
named Shamsher. He was a gangster. All the people of that village were terrified by him. The
main reason is that there were not any government officials to maintain the peace of that village.
So the people of that village were on their own. But the people there always ready to help.

Identity and anxieties

There was a night time. When all villagers were sleeping in their homes. Suddenly a ship from
space came to their village and landed there. The villagers gathered in search of such a thing.
Suddenly an individual appeared from the spaceship. When people get the first glimpse of that
alien the people were terrified. They began to run for their safety. The reason is that the light is
emitting from the alien. So the people ran to make them safe. The alien understood that if he
wants to do his research peacefully then he must look like them. He had to make an appearance
the same as they are.
So he saw a photograph of the character named Shaani. He became a duplicate of Shaani. When
next morning he came to the village with the face of Shaani. All the people which gathered there
including the relatives of the original Shaani accepted him. The main reason for that alien to
come to earth was that he appointed to examine the planet earth. The reason is that his planet
began to destroy in near future. The planet where he lived was not sustainable. So he was sent to
take a proper look on earth that if this planet is sustainable for them or not. As he was looking
like Shaani, the elders of that village married him to a beautiful girl.
When a gangster Shamsher came to know that Shaani is alive. He again began to disturb the lives
of the people living there. Shamsher wanted to kill Shaani because he knew all illegal activities
of Shamsher. So he planned to kill Shaani. Shamsher tried his best to kill him but he could not.
But he killed one man of that village. And that alien did not die because of his superpowers.
Then his wife or all the villagers came to know that he was not Shaani. The alien told them the
truth about him. The head of the village understood his problem. So all the people did not panic
to live with him. But he said that he has to go on his planet. Because his research ended, so he
decided to go back to his people.
