Web based online examinations system settings of examinations, questions bank, taking
examinations, display results, view answers, store and save test results, The examinations
system provides complete functionality of evaluating and assessing students performance
skills. The examinations system comprises of question bank effectively blended with a whole
set of features, Using different features of examinations administrator can set an exam name
select an examination and assign questions for examinations,

INTRODUCTION

Online Examination System is a technology-driven way to simplify examination activities

like defining exam patterns with question banks, defining exam timer, objective/ subjective
question sections, conducting exams using the computer or mobile devices in a paperless
manner. Online Examination System is a cost-effective, scalable way to convert traditional
pen and paper-based exams to online and paperless mode, Candidates can appear for the
exam using any desktop, laptop, or mobile device with a browser. Exam results can be
generated instantly for the objective type of questions. It can simplify overall examination
management and result in generation activity.

Since the traditional have many drawbacks such as time Consuming, Difficulty of analyzing
the test manually, More e observers are required to take exam of many students, Results are
not accurate since calculations is done e manually, The chance of losing exam's result is
higher in n Current systems, Checking of result is time consuming a since it done manually,
Limitation of no of student can e give examination at a time. With the development of a
information technology and use it in an orderly and s properly helps to overcome the existing
error in the manual d System. Online examination system saves the exam ms information in a
database, and this make it an easier way to n give exam teachers can add theirs exams rules,
and student can give exam in a totally automated system.

OBJECTIVES

The online objective exam system is an online test system that allows users to take online
tests and automatically generates results based on answers marked by users. The system is to
be used for various online tests conducted by schools colleges and other institutions. The
system is an online application that ca be used to take tests online and get instant results. The
system is designed currently for 8 subjects. It also consists of an admin module. The admin
module leads to admin dashboard which is accessible through admin login. The admin
dashboard allows admin to add new questions into system along with 4 options and 1 right
answer. The admin may also set the time in minutes for every subject and number of
questions. So now whenever user resisters he may then login using registered username
password. The user is now allowed to give a test from any 8 subjects as desired. On choosing
a subject the test starts and user may now tick desired answers within the time limit. After the
time ends the system goes to the result page and shows users score to him.

CONCLUSION
This Web Application provides facility to conduct online examination worldwide. It saves
time as it allows number of students to give the exam at a time and displays the results as the
test gets over, so no need to wait for the result.

It is automatically generated by the server Administrator has to create, modify and delete the
test papers and its particular question. User can register, login and give the test with his
specific id, and can see the results as well.
