1 . You can travel on e-ticket sent on SMS or take a Virtual Reservation Message (VR M) along with any one of the prescribed ID in original. Please do not print the
ERS unless extremely necessary. T his Ticket will be valid with an ID proof in original. Please carry original identity proof. If found tra veling without original ID proof,
passenger will be treated as without ticket and charg ed as per e xtent R ailway Rules.

4. The acc ommodation booked is not trans ferable and is valid onl y if the ORIGIN AL ID card prescribed is pres ented during the journey. T he SMS/VRM/ERS along with valid i d car d of any one the
passenger booked on e-ticket proof in original would be verified by TTE with the name and PNR on the chart. If the Passenger fail to produc ed/display SMS/VRM/ER S due to any eventuality(los s,
damaged mobile/laptop etc.) but has the prescribed original proof of identity, a penalty of Rs.50/- per tic ket as applicable to s uch c ases will be l evied. The ticket c hec king staff on boar d/off board will give
exc ess fare tic ket for the same.
5.E-tic ket canc ellations are permitted through www.irctc.c o.in by the user.
6. PNRs having full y waitlisted status will be dropped and the names of the passengers on suc h tic kets will not appear on the c hart. T hey are not allowed to board the trai n. However the names of
PARTIALLY waitlisted/confirmed and R AC tic ket pass enger will appear in the chart.
7. Obtai n certificate from the TTE /C onductor in cas e of ( a) PARTIALLY waitlisted e-tic ket when LESS NO. OF PASSENGERS travel, (b)A.C.FAILURE, (c)TRAVEL IN LOWER CLASS. This original
certificate mus t be sent to GGM (IT), IRCTC, Internet Ticketing Centre, IRCA Building, State Entr y Road, New D elhi-110055 after filing TDR online within prescribed time for claiming refund.
8. In cas e of Partial c onfir med/RAC/Wait listed tic ket, TDR should be filed online within prescribed time in cas e NO PASSENGER is travelling for processi ng of refund as per Rail way refund rules
9. While TDR refund requests are filed & registered on IRCTC website www.irctc.co.i n, they are proc essed by Z onal R ailways as per Railway Refund R ules.(detail availabl e on www.irctc.c o.in under
heading Important Information-->Refund Cancellation Rules.
10. Confirmed tic ket can be cancelled upto thirty mi nutes befor e schedul ed departur e of the train. H owever, no refund s hall be granted on cancellation of c onfirmed ticket after four hours before the
scheduled departure of train.
11. RAC/partiall y confirmed Tic ket c an be canc elled upto thirty minutes before schedul ed departure of the train. H owever, r efund will be granted as per provisions of extant Railway Refund Rule.
12. In cas e, on a party e-tic ket or a famil y e-ticket issued for travel of more than one passenger, s ome passengers have confirmed res ervation and others are on RAC or waiting list, full refund of fare ,
less clerkage, s hall be admissible for confirmed passengers also s ubj ect to the c ondition that the ticket s hall be c anc elled online or online TDR shall be filed for all the pass engers upto thirty minutes
before the sc heduled departure of the tr ain.
13. For Suvidha Trai n, W.e.f. 20-Jan-2018, refund r ule will be applicabl e as per General refund rule.
14. In cas e of Train Cancellation on its entire run, full refund will be granted automatically by the System. However, if the train is cancelled partially on its run, pass engers are required to file TDR within
72hrs fr om sc hedul e departure of the train fr om the passenger's boardi ng stati on.
15. Passengers are advised not to carry inflammabl e/dangerous/explosi ve/articles as part of their luggage and als o to desist from smoking in the trai ns.
