The Universal Topper (UT) is available in two diffe-
rent configurations for WBC Round Top, Square
Top, Low Top and AST (each top requires a specific
base adapter! See page 13):

• Unscrew the candle unit (candle+candle
mounting plate; not used anymore).

5. Remove the monitor from the cabinet Monitor Securing Plate

with cable ties to the already existing harness.

7. Preparing the comm board 68k
Dual RJ45 Adapter Board
TOPPER
• Lead the RJ45 display harness (p/n 65029946)
coming from the topper through the left rear
corner of the logic box into the logic box.
Plug-in the RJ45 connector to J2 or J3 on the
dual RJ45 adapter board (p/n 65033720)
located on the comm board.

Lead the display power harness (p/n 65029949)
through the opening on the left of the cabinet
top, down behind the logic box. Connect the plug
(p/n 65029949) to J5 on the power board
(figure 4).

Progressive Configuration
For a topper with progressive display it is necessary Note:
to use a progressive GAL or Security Device and the For progressive configuration
machine has to be configured to progressive mode. a Comm board is required!

• Cover the logic box and the power supply (e.g. Note:

5. Preparing the comm board 68k
• The dual RJ45 adapter board (p/n 65033720) Cover Plate (p/n 6502 5432)
is used to connect two progressive displays to
the comm board 68k; e.g. used for topper pro-
gressive display and top glass progressive
display.
The dual RJ45 adapter board is connected to
Cover Plate (p/n 6502 4062)
P7 and P3 on the comm board (figure 9).
9. Preparing the progressive topper power supply Cover Plate (p/n 6502 4062)

• Mount the progressive topper power supply
(p/n 65033425) to the power supply plate (p/n
65034397) and fix it with four screws.

The progressive topper power supply voltage input
is selectable!
The factory setting is 115V, check and change if
necessary!
