Praxis Core Exam Analysis:

Exam Requirements-
I must pass the Praxis Core Exam to successfully transfer to UNLV to get my
bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. The passing scores for the Praxis
Core Exam in Nevada for Math is 150, Reading is 156, and Writing is 162.

Exam Preparation-
I did not prepare for the Praxis Core Exam. Because I am teaching PreK I was
told that I did not need to take the Praxis Core Exam. I heard little bits about the
exam from other teachers in EDU classes but not many details to know what it was.
The only prep I did was from the website's hyperlinks that were in this assignment,
but I rushed through it all because I needed to finish the assignment on time.

Exam Results-
In Math, I scored in the 37% range, which means that I am unlikely to pass the
Math section when I take the official Praxis Core Exam. In Reading, I scored in the
52% range, which means that I am unlikely to pass the Math section when I take the
official Praxis Core Exam. In Writing, I scored in the 38% range, which means that I
am unlikely to pass the Math section when I take the official Praxis Core Exam.

Future Exam Preparation-

I will purchase an online program to work through and help me get more
accommodated with the test. I will also use the free Praxis Prep websites that have
been provided to find classes and test prep to help me learn more about the Praxis
Core exam. I plan to familiarize myself with the Praxis Core Exam by taking online
classes or programs to help refresh my knowledge in preparation for this important
exam.
