    APPROVED SYNOPSIS

    Title of the project: Smart Time Table using Arduino with Biometric Attendance system

    Objectives of study:

     To reduce time taken to take attendance in the class room and to make
    time table available at door step.

     To help the students by giving the attendance by themselves to make


    sure they are present. And they cannot blame staff for low attendance
    percentage.

     The time table display will be very much helpful all students, staff and
    heads, because they don’t need to check their period in the calendar,
    every time.

     The students can be easily monitored by staff, there is no need for


    manual checking.

    Rationale for the study:

     The purpose of this project is to automate all activities related to attendance of students
    in a classroom and time table of class.

    Detailed methodology to be used for carrying out the study:

     PLC and DCS is used based on the information available from switchyard.The
    information is in the form of analog and binary inputs and is used to control high tension
    supply handling equipment from the remote location.

    The expected contribution from the study:

     The Power monitoring and controlling of switchyard’s equipment and its operation using
    DCS has to be studied.
