Green Marketing

1. Introduction of your product and company

Nike topped Morgan Stanley’s list in 2015 of
most sustainable clothing and footwear brands.
They’re also making it easier for designers to
make green choices with an app that helps you
compare the environmental footprint of different
fabrics. It uses post-consumer recycled
materials in some of its products. It’s also
redesigned its boxes to reduce packaging,
committed to eliminating chemical discharges, invested in energy efficiency in
its factories and more. Nike is also partnering with NASA and other government
agencies to spark innovation in chemistry to green the processing of raw
materials into goods.

VaporMax Air cushioning system: Greater

lightness, adding more cushioning capacity.
Upper cut with Flyknit fabric: Increases the hold
and flexibility of the model. Innovative sole:
Structured in different rubber sections, which
provide more durable traction.

2. Definition of Green Marketing: The

development and marketing of products designed to minimize negative effects
on the physical environment .

3. Positive aspects on your products and Green Marketing

 The revolutionary carbon platform that contains the 'Next%', which boosts
and reduces the fatigue of the long distance runner to recover time on the
clock.

 Nike aims to control its commitment to the environment and climate change
with the launch of a collection made with sustainable materials to "protect
the future of the planet"

 Greater lightness, adding more cushioning capacity, increase the hold and
flexibility of the model, structured in different rubber sections, which provide
more durable traction.
4. Negative aspects on your products and Green Marketing

 Nike Vapormax will have a lower quality since it is not the same to make
shoes with recyclable materials than with first-hand materials
 Nike Vapormax have less durability because they are made from recycled
materials and generally tend to be more fragile.

5. Conclusion
To conclude, we thought it was amazing that such a big and important company
as Nike applies green marketing by using recycled materials in 75% of their
products, by partnering with several institutions that strive for similar things,
and by their app, etc. Although recycled products may be not be as long lasting
as others by consuming them we are trying to leave the least environmental
trace in the world and we protect our lovely planet Earth.
