NEED FOR POWER

We all desire power consciously and unconsciously, which is related to our desire to control the
environment to provide us with what we want. The need for power is related to Maslow's self-needs,
because those in power experience self-improvement, self-esteem, success, and personal satisfaction. An
ad describing the concept of power is a Mercedes ad.
It reads “Men talk about women, sport and cars. Women talk about men inside sports cards” .It is
suggested that men who buy this car will have control over women's remarks. "This means that if you buy
this car, it will attract the attention of women. Use your imagination, because you can imagine the
possibilities when buying a car.
Our behavior is shaped by our desire for friendship, acceptance and belonging, and the need for belonging
clearly implies this. We are highly dependent on others because we are all social people who need to
interact, especially those we love. This factor is closely related to Maslow's social needs.
NEED FOR ACHIEVEMENT
According to Maslow, the requirements of achievement theory emphasize personal achievement and are
related to Maslow's self-needs and self-realization. An example of a requirement for success is the Nike
#MakeItCount advertising campaign (2012). The key figure in the campaign was Mo Farah, who
promoted Nike and delivered a message that when you listen to Nike, you think of success.
The aid depicts athletes because people want to follow their example and inspire people to own Nike
products, which will allow you to count and achieve what you want. This is an example of what is needed
for success
NEED FOR AFFILIATION
Coca-Cola has established its own brand, can establish contact with customers, and strongly shows its
connection with members through advertisements. In the famous #ShareACoke , Coca-Cola campaign,
they took 150 of the most popular names in the region and used them for logo design. They know that
people want to choose a bottle with their own name or the name of a friend. It successfully established
connections and was therefore very positively welcomed, making consumers the face of its campaign.
This is one of the best examples of the need for cooperation.
