COURSE DESCRIPTION

Introduction to the liturgical prayer of the church. Special emphasis on the place of the
Church year as the unfolding of the mystery of Christ, the Liturgy of the Hours as its
praise, and the Eucharist and other sacraments of Christ as its celebration and
proclamation. Examination of architecture, art and music in liturgy.
