What constitutes a top streamed song?

- Categories “pop” and “dance pop” are BY FAR the most popular genres
- Other genres like “electro” appear to be on the rise
- Songs average between 3 and 4 minutes
How do the genders compare?
- Female artists were more popular this past decade
- Female artists tend to make the most number of hit songs individually,
average the most money, and had the most hit songs as a whole

We will have to watch for if the trends discussed in this presentation remain
