CALL TO ORDER
A lovely morning to our guests. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the wedding reception
here at ________________________ of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin and Sarah Jane Boton, I am Mark,
and I am tasked to be the emcee for today’s celebration. So please find a seat and make
yourselves comfortable as we are about to start the program.

Opening Spiel:
"No relationship is all sunshine but two people can share one umbrella and survive the
storm together."

Indeed, today we have witnessed two people who never gave up on each other and
remained strong amid the storm. Now, they have chosen to seal their love with the civil
wedding ceremony. 

WELCOME ADDRESS
A VERY GOOD DAY TO EVRYONE AND WELCOME TO Sarah Jane and Alvin’s Wedding
Reception. We are done with the solemn part of the celebration and we thank those people
who were with us earlier at Tourism Building in Poblacion for the civil wedding ceremony.
And for those who just join in, welcome to the reception for our newlyweds in celebration of
the beginning of their new life together as a couple. So sit down, relax and enjoy the rest of
the day.

We thank you all for gracing this joyful occasion especially to those who have
traveled many miles and to those who took a leave of absence for their work just to be with
us. In behalf of Alvin and Sarah Jane and their parents, I would like to express their
heartfelt gratitude for your presence at this memorable occasion. It is indeed a pleasure to
have you all today.

Today calls for a grand celebration and it is my distinct pleasure to introduce them
to you for the very first time today as husband and wife. So without further ado, Let us all
rise and give our warmest welcome Mr. & Mrs. Alvin and Sarah Jane Boton

"They are the proof that love stands still even with the test of time. Love really makes us
blush, look at them they are just absolutely stunning!"

Once again, let us give our loudest applause to the wedding entourage, and of course, the
couple, Mr. & Mrs. Alvin & Sarah Jane Boton! (wide applause)

Thank you very much…Let us all be seated now. Truly, this event will be a celebration of
love… a feast of two hearts who vowed to stay forever no matter what…

Special Number
Every one of us has a deep desire to love and to be loved. Your marriage today is a public
and legal affirmation of the bonding that you had already begun. Marriage is a
commitment to live that will allow you to share your lives together.

Marriage will stretch you as individual, deepen your love for one another and bring out the
best in each other. So, enjoy your marriage and let it be a time of waking each morning
and falling in love with each other all over again.

Tradition
Cake Slicing & Wine Toast
In every wedding reception, there is always the slicing of the wedding cake which actually
symbolizes the couple’s shared future and their life as one and maybe sprinkled with love
and sweetness just like the cake. And now comes the slicing of that beautiful cake (find
out who made it and announce that).

So I’d like Alvin and Sarah Jane to walk around to the front of the bridal table to perform
their first duty as husband and wife. (check with the photographer before announcing this)

Ladies and gentlemen, please direct your attention to the cake slicing tradition.
The Husband and wife will put their hands together to slice the cake. The two hands
moving as one with one purpose, symbolizes that the two will work in unity to reach
common goals for their shared future and their life together as one.
The sharing of this food symbolizes the couple’s willingness to fulfill each other’s needs,
creating a bond so simple and yet so strong.

Ladies and gentlemen… now would be a great opportunity for photos – a once and only to
capture the special moment of Alvin and Sarah Jane slicing their wedding cake.

I think it is appropriate that Sarah Jane and Alvin kiss each other.
Oh, that wasn’t a kiss, that was a peck --- I said A KISS.

WINE TOAST
To symbolize and celebrate the blending of your two lives into one, I invite you to perform
the wine ceremony.
The arms of the couple will intertwine as they drink wine. This ceremony represents your
two individual lives, Now intertwined; combined like the two glasses wine into one single
life. The drinking of the combined wine. Signifies the commitment. You now make to live
your lives as one family. May you remember this day of commitment you have sealed with
drinking of the new wine joining your lives as one.

may we request everyone to fill your glasses with any drink that we could get and join
Sarah Jane and Alvin for the symbolic champagne toast.

We shall now invite the couple up to pop the champagne

As Champagne is a symbol of celebrations and happiness. May I invite the parents,
relatives and close friends to the couple up to join Alvin and Sarah Jane in the traditional
Champagne toasting. For the rest of the guest, let’s also rise and raise our glasses to give
toasts to celebrate this joyous occasion!

Thanksgiving Prayer
It is said that a successful marriage involves three hearts becoming one. The hearts of the
husband, the wife and the God at the center. So let us give thanks to the one who made
this all possible. The author of life, Love and Relationships. Our one true God.
Let us all stand as we offer thanksgiving to our Lord. and also to say grace before meals
which we are about to partake.

Wedding Banquet Prayer

Lord God, Creator of the universe, Father of all, we have gathered here around this
banquet to celebrate the love and commitment that have united the bride and the groom in
a wonderful bond of marriage. 

Bless, Father, this food that we are about to receive with grateful hearts as a sign of your
continuous bounty and providence. May your generous blessing descend also upon these
newly married spouses Alvin and Sarah Jane, their families and friends present here at
this joyful banquet. 

We ask that you would bless them, protect them, and fill their lives with your wisdom. We
pray that our bride and groom Sarah and Alvin would continually desire to be a heavenly
mate. May they be determined to make YOU the center of their home. We make this prayer
in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy
Spirit, on God for ever and ever. Amen. 

Meals Instructions
The food is now ready. At this point to maintain order, the coordinators will approach your
table and the guests from that table will be requested to proceed to the location of the
couple for pictorial. Right after that, they can line up at the buffet counter to get their
meals. Please wait for the coordinators to approach your table.

To facilitate and observe order during the buffet, let us have Table 1 at the left side of the
buffet to be followed by Table 2 and so on...The food is now served ladies and gentleman.
Enjoy the sumptuous meal everyone!

A wedding does not only bring two people together but it often reunites families and friends
who might have not seen each other for months or even years. Weddings are indeed a high
time for meet-and-greet. So let us acknowledge the presence of our most important
guests. (Acknowledge guests from each table)
First Dance (Money Dance)
 Today is indeed a special night, and will be forever etched in the memory of our beloved
couple. On this joyful beginning what could be more fitting than to celebrate it with their
first dance. The first dance is symbolic of the consummation of their wedding vows. This
dance is the wedding couple’s first cooperative engagement and joint endeavor. Ladies and
gentlemen, it is once again my privilege to present to you Mr. and Mrs. Alvin and Sarah
Boton with their first Dance. And to serenade with them let us welcome once more Sam.

It’s now time for our money dance where you will get your chance to financially bless our
couple.
Our coordinators will be standing here to put the sash on the couple
You may approach them and they will hand you envelopes and safety pins where you can
put 500 bills and 1000 bills and more. And you can attach the envelops to the sash they
are watching.

(after --- Thank you all for your generosity that will indeed go along way for the couple.

 Life may get a little offbeat for the couple, they may miss a step or two but their hearts will
always beat harmoniously for each other. Let's give another round of applause for the
couple!

Messages from the parents

It is said that our parents are our first teachers having raised us patiently from childhood
to adulthood. They have been our source of comfort, support and inspiration. Without
them, our newlyweds will not be here. Let us welcome the parents of the couple to give
their Message.

The celebration is about to end but the couple’s joyous moment will surely last a lifetime.
And even as we go home today, may we still keep the memories we made today with our
lovely couple. To personally express their gratitude for the entire wedding celebration and
the people who made it possible, let us give the floor to our newlyweds for their message.

It has truly been a wonderful day. Thank you everyone for taking part in the celebration of
love and life with our newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin and Sarah Jane. We might have come
