‌[Tafsir]
Surah Al-Fatihah is named because it is the opening of the Book
of God, and it is called Mother of Al-Quran because it contains
all subjects of the Qur'an; From the Oneness of God, worship,
and allusion to stories and other than that, and it is the greatest
surah in the Qur’an and it is the seven oft repeated.

1 - In the name of God, I begin to read the Qur’an, seeking the
help of the Almighty, being blessed by mentioning His name.
The Basmalah included three of God's good names, which are: 1
- “Allah”; means: the one who is truly worshiped, and it is the
most specific of the names of Allah, and no one else can be
called by Him, Glory be to Him. 2 – Ar-Rahman; means: the
One with vast mercy. He is the Most Merciful in Himself. 3 -
“Ar-Raheem”; means: the possessor of continual mercy. He has
mercy on whomever He wills of His creation, and among them
are the believers from His servants.

2 - All kinds of praiseworthy attributes of majesty and perfection
belong to Him alone without anyone else. For, He is the Lord,
Creator, and Controller of all things. And “the worlds” are the
plural of “world,” and they are everything besides God
Almighty.

verse.

clear path that is not crooked, and it is Islam that God Almighty

7 - The way of those upon whom You have blessed among Your
servants through your guidance; like the Prophets and the
truthful and the martyrs and the righteous and good people, they
are the ultimate companion, but not the way of those who are
hatred by, who knew the truth and did not follow it like certain
Jews, and not they way of those who are misguided from the
truth, who were not guided by it as they neglect to seek the truth
and be guided by it like certain Christians.

[Some benefits of the verses]
• God Almighty opened his book with the Basmalah; To instruct
His servants to begin their actions and their speech with it in
order to seek His help and success.
• To guide the righteous servants of God in supplication, to
begin with glorifying God and praising Him, Glory be to Him,
and then start seeking.
• Warn the Muslims against negligence in seeking the truth, like
the misguided Christians, or their failure to act upon the right
like the punished Jews.
• The surah indicates that perfect faith is found in sincere
worship to God and asking for help only from Him and no one
else.
