PRAYER OF THE FAITHFUL

Priest: In Baptism we are all made children of the Father and so with
confidence in his great love for us, His living family here on earth, we turn to
him with our prayers, let our response be:

Our Father in heaven, pray for us.

1. For the family of the Church that, through the holiness of our shepherds, they
may imbue the whole human family with the same holiness that they may
always bear witness to the love of God our Father. We pray.

2. May God send forth laborers to His vineyard coming from every family, the
seedbed of every vocation, who will minister to every family, the domestic
Church. We pray.

3. That the government of the world may put the welfare of every family in
their admirations to serve the country. We pray.

4. For our National Sandigan Foundation Family, may God showered us with
graces necessary for us to serve the Filipino families especially as an
instrument of holiness for our family and our community. We pray.

5. May whole human family learn to live in holiness, in order to break down
the barriers of hate, and make a world filled with love. We pray.

6. For Christians everywhere, that they persevere to defend the sanctity of

human life from conception to death as well as the value of family centered
on God. We pray.

7. For all the sick and suffering members of our family, particularly those who
are victims of violence or natural disasters, especially of the COVID-19 virus
that they will be comforted by the love of Christ. We pray.

8. For all the deceased members of our family, may God grant them eternal
peace, until the day that we gathered all together as one family of God. We
pray.

9. Let us pray for a moment in silence, let us pray for our personal, family and
community intentions. (pause) We pray.
Priest: God of love, Father of all, teach us the value of holiness in the family
for us to grow in human love, and help us to live in peace with the whole of
humanity that we may share your life forever. We ask this through Jesus Christ,
our Lord. Amen
