Charmer

Save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier

Groom a Mark
Starting a 3rd Level, the Charmer can spend a minute building up rapport with an individual in order to
gain their trust. At the end of this one minute period, the charmer makes a Charisma (Deception) check
contested by the target’s Wisdom (Insight) check. If successful, then the target has disadvantage on all
future insight checks made to tell whether or not the Charmer is lying. Additionally any checks made to
convince the target to believe something negative about the Charmer are made at disadvantage. If the
check fails, then it cannot be attempted again until the next day. If a target under the effect of this
catches the Charmer lying to them, the effect immediately ends and another attempt cannot be made
until a set amount of time, determined by the GM on a character to character basis, has passed.

Winning Smile
At 3rd level, as an Action choose a target that can see and hear you within 30ft and roll Charisma
(Persuasion) against their Wisdom (Insight). On a success, the target is charmed towards you for 10
minutes. Once made the target of this ability, a creature cannot be made a target again until the next
day.

Dominant Personality
At 9th level as an reaction you project the dominance of your personality on all those around you. Any
opponent that targets you with an attack or a harmful spell must first make a Charisma saving throw.
On a failed save, the opponent must choose a new target or lose the attack or spell, while giving you
advantage on your next attack against that opponent.

Compelling Wit
At 13th level you gain immunity to charm and charm-like effects.

Soul of Deceit
At 17th level, your thoughts can't be read by telepathy or other means, unless you allow it. You can
present false thoughts by making a Charisma (Deception) check contested by the mind reader's
Wisdom (Insight) check.
Additionally, no matter what you say, magic that would determine if you are telling the truth indicates
you are being truthful if you so choose, and you can't be compelled to tell the truth by magic.
