CHARACTER INTEGRATED LESSON PLAN
SUBJECT: TLE 8 GRADE LEVEL: Grade 8
TOPIC: Drafting Tools and Equipment
MATERIALS: Laptop, Chalk, Visual Aids, Projector, Blackboard and Drafting Tools/Materials
 OBJECTIVES:
 The learners demonstrate an understanding of hand tools and equipment in Drafting
 The learners shall be able to classify, use and draw drafting tools and equipment according to function
and task requirement.
 The learner values the importance of drafting tools in application to real world.
1) PROCEDURES/INSTRUCTIONS:
2.1) SCHEMA ACTIVATION:
The teacher will ask 5 boys and 5 girls to join the
game. Each girl will be representing a country and will
be wearing a sash and a crown. The boys will be given
of flags and should be able to find the right girl that
represents the country of the flag they are holding.
Once they all have found the right girl, a hidden word
will be revealed:
2.2) LESSON PROPER:
The students will be engaged in an Interactive
Discussion. Different drafting materials, tools and
drawing instruments will be used in discussing the
topic. (Pages 9-12)
2.3) PRE-ASSESSMENT:
Answer the Pre-Test Learning Objective 1 on Pages 7-
8.
2.4) ASSESSMENT:
The class will be grouped into four (4). Each group
will draw and completely label at least one drafting
tool, material/drawing instrument. A task sheet will be
given to help them complete the activity.
2.5) ENRICHMENT:
The students will prepare sample pictures of different
drafting tools and equipment. They will make a list of
drafting materials and tools per job requirement.
3) ASSESSMENT:
The class will be divided into four (4) groups.  Each
group is going to draw their dream house with the used

 LOVE OF LEARNING
The students will show eagerness and value of
the importance of drafting tools and
equipment in the application for the real field
of job.

The students will show the importance of

one’s creativity and innovation in future
works.

The students will appreciate the essentiality of
exploring and discovering the different
functions of drafting tools and equipment
within their daily lives.
 PERSEVERANCE/TEAMWORK
The students will show cooperation and
camaraderie in finishing the different task in
learning the different functions of Drafting
Tools and Equipment.

5) ASSIGNMENT:
The students will create line exercises and circle

of the different drafting materials and tools/ drawing they used in this activity.
