The UV77 is a seven-string solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1990.
The UV77 was available only in a swirled Multi Color finish. A prototype of the UV77 MC appeared on the cover of
Vai's 1990 masterpiece album, Passion and Warfare.
This is a High End Custom built Ibanez Universe with a few modern tweaks...
This Amazing guitar costs close to the Five grand mark to custom build.....
The Body is a swirled 2 pce American Alder body from Allan at OOTS in the UK.
The Gloss clear coat was done by Ernie Taylor from ET Guitars in sydney,
The neck was custom made by ET Guitars, 3 peice Maple with Bubinga stripe,
stainless steel Dunlop 6100 frets with Neon disappreaing Pyamid Inlays & a
Neon Fluro yellow headstock with a Bright Pink Ibanez decal with a Gloss finish....
The Nut, Gotoh Tuners, Edge Lo-Pro 7 Bridge, 500K pots & barrel output jack were
all sourced from a Japanese RG7620 7 String for the best in tone and playability....
The switch was swapped out for a 3 way switch for a HH config with a steve vai
waterslide signature decal being in the middle S position for a killer classy look..
Has a Vai Logo truss rod cover & has clear plastic rear covers to show off the swirl,
Has a Fluro switch Nob in pink & pink n orange fluro Knobs to suits........
Seymour Duncan Nazgul and Sentient high output passive humbucker pickups
installed for the most Amazing Rock & Metal tones & absolute Killer looks

Sentient is a very articulate pickup with great dynamic response & a wide harmonic range.
Has been recently serviced with frets polished & board oiled & restrung with D'addario
NYXL Regular 10-46 with a D'addario 0.59 for the thicker 7th string for killer tones....
