Diversification is one of the strategies of Amazon. The strategy is based on using the
technological expertise for business benefit and following a cost leadership strategy directed
at offering the highest value for their customers at lowest price [ CITATION Pra \l 1033 ].
Amazon’s Mission Statement
Amazon’s mission statement is as follows “we strive to offer our customers the lowest
possible prices, the best available selection, and the utmost convenience.” The following
components or features are identifiable in Amazon’s mission statement [ CITATION Law19 \l

Lowest prices- it is a pricing strategy which means that providing product at a lower
price than its competitors.
Best selection- it provides broad diverse product to their customers which attracts
them the most.
Utmost convenience- it is one of the common criteria on which basis the customers
evaluate the product.
Amazon’s Vision Statement
Amazon’s vision statement is “To be Earth’s most customer-centric company, where
customer can find and discover anything they might want to buy online.” The following
