Amazon’s vision statement is “To be Earth’s most customer-centric company, where
customer can find and discover anything they might want to buy online.” The following

 Global reach- its aim to expand their business globally.

 Customer prioritization- it considers the customer as the most important stakeholder
group in the online retail business.
 Widest selection of products- continuing efforts to broaden the product mix.
Why these statements are important?
Well, it is important for the strategic direction of Amazon. The purpose of these statements
is instilling a sense of belonging and identity to the employees. The mission statement
provides the direction to the organization while the vision statement provides the goal to be
