I have visited many scenic spots and pulchritude landmarks since I was a child.
However, Hong Kong Disney Land impresses me most until now. Hong Kong
Disney Land, as known as HK Disney Land, is a theme park located on reclaimed
land in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island. It is one the biggest theme park in this
country, with 28 ha of the width. In August 1998, The Walt Disney Company
and the Hong Kong Government announced their intentions to construct a
themed entertainment park in Hong Kong, which was the second one in Asia,
just after Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan. One year later, on 10 th December, they
both sign an agreement to build the second Disney Land. Then, the
construction finally began in 2003. After 2 difficult years, Hong Kong Disneyland
was officially opened to the public in September 12. On January 27, 2020, Hong
Kong Disneyland Resort temporarily closed down due to the coronavirus
outbreak in China. There are also some fun facts about this theme park. For
example, there are over 200 different species of trees and more than 400
different types of shrubs located in the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, making it
one of the most florally diverse parks under the Disney name. Moreover, the
most popular attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland is the Slinky Dog Spin, ridden
by millions of guests each year. Today, this theme park has just reopened for 5
months, since February 2021. Visitors now are capable of paying a visit there
and taking some stunning pictures.
